Rigathi Gachagua has just confirmed my worst fears that DCP will field Embakasi North MP James Gakuya in the Nairobi gubernatorial seat. I have always maintained that my beloved governor Babu Owino @HEBabuOwino will be short challenged by the United opposition in Nairobi 💔💔😭😭😭. I am very sad. Having @SakajaJohnson, Babu Owino @HEBabuOwino and James Gakuya all in the race automatically hands DCP a clear win. Infact Babu may be 2nd and Sakaja 3rd😭😭😭. We would have lost it as Babu Owino diehards. Politics is about interests if Babu Owino's interests cannot be met in the United opposition i think it will be wise to seek for alternative alliances. There is no need to stay at a place where you clearly knkwn that you will be set up to fail. I don't see how he is beating Mt Kenya numbers in Nairobi especially with Sakaja also eating a few from his side.
