Reports have it that a senior lecturer at Ambrose Alli University, Dr. Matthew Uwuigbe, reportedly passed away in a hotel room while in the company of a 21-year-old lady.
According to the police, the lecturer allegedly sent the young lady out to get water. By the time she returned, she reportedly found him lifeless on the bed.
The police will now conduct a full investigation to establish what happened and determine the actual cause of de@th.
The young lady may have to remain in custody while the matter is being investigated, especially since the case involves a de@th.
The court may remand her pending the outcome of the investigation and subsequent proceedings.
Only God knows how long a case like this could take. Imagine being 21 and finding yourself caught up in a situation like this.
She may live to regret that day for the rest of her life.
May his soul rest in peace.
