biggest lesson I've learned in +15 years. there are NO short cuts. Treat trading like a University Degree. Learn the core subjects and choose electives on discipline, mindset and allow many years to graduate. Divide your cash into 4 years, and get to graduation

The thing about Oil. We’re playing a game where believing anything the crooks say is financial suicide. France all of a sudden can release 50million barrels!! To beat the crooks I would have this rule - Pairs Trading Strategy. If you’re bullish Oil ‘pair’ it with Natural Gas.

I get this. Many know I went on a sabbatical because the passion had gone. 18 months later I still struggle to find the passion. So I went & found myself - who I am, finally. My real passions. Humans are designed to CREATE. Trading / Investing has changed - it lost its creativity
This is my last hill . Not joking . Models and bottles Or I am fcked . I am all in . Either way - I am walking away . Done this shit for 30yrs it’s enuf .

I think there are pockets of complacency. Ie - paper Gold. However the complacency as a collective is protected by the likes of Blackrock & fund managers who’ve become socialists. I know everyone talking bubble and crash - but the crooks (blackrock & the like) control too much
The complacency is next level unreal .

I don’t have many followers, don’t get many likes but I do try and share what I’ve experienced over the years. We are at the most dangerous table in the casino. What do I mean by dangerous? Chop, wicks, reversals. And it’s emotionally draining.
There’s never a good time to become obsessed with a trade. And the very worst time is where we are right now. Labelling a trade say, X then re-labeling after losses to Y is the start of the obsession at the most dangerous part of the market cycle. Large sums are lost here, large.

There’s a difference between long term investing physical versus paper holdings. It’s not the same. When one holds physical they can be complacent. When one holds paper with physical complacency mindset they get wiped out. I hope I’m wrong for the complacent crowd.
What worries me about gold is there are two camps. The paper long camp and the physical long camp. The paper longs are at a guess 80% long and not budging. The physical longs waiting for price to buy more around $3600. The third camp doesn’t exist… the short camp. Hmmm

A lot of “I’m long term” traders been hatched in the last 24 hours…

They’re raising rates when there’s zero inflation and households are spending nothing. The Pub Test. Every piece of data is bullshit, yet everyone still believes it. Quite extraordinary really. Covid era long forgotten or finance people believe their industry is immune.

This degenerate @asxcfdtrader the other day posted “they are the same trade”. Bitcoin \ Gold. I read it then sat in my pondering spot. I hate when he makes me think. But he’s right (hate that as well) & this follows my previous post on gold concerns & “the coins” look concerning

🇦🇺 CALLING ALL AUSTRALIANS 🇦🇺 Can we please share this? It might not make a difference, but if enough people speak up, it’s worth trying. Australians are struggling. Families are living in cars and on the streets because they can’t afford housing. Meanwhile, millions are being spent housing criminals, billions are being sent overseas, and our taxes are funding politicians’ trips and expenses. The cost of living is getting harder, and ordinary Australians are being pushed to the limit. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I’m just one person trying to stand up and have my voice heard. If you agree that Australians deserve to be heard, PLEASE SHARE. 🙏🏽💫🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I’ve been pondering….. post joint. The last time I heard “this could kill the global population” the solution turned out to be as simple as wearing a mask! So perhaps mainframes can wear masks to stop AI killing us all. The other alternative is turn the electricity switch off.💡

I think with gold the head & shoulders pattern that everyone saw didn’t play out in the time frame everyone wanted. We could have just witnessed the “flush”, a decent one & enough to spook long traders. It’s worth a bet long around here.

There’s a lot of people predicting Oil going to $150-$200. Relying on historical charts to predict. Let me just say, if Oil goes above where it’s atm, it won’t matter how financially “comfortable” you think you are, you will be in the food bank queue along with everyone else.

No one should receive “global citizen” awards when we continue to ignore this. This pile of waste can solve energy, environment, recycling problems with one match & an air filter. This picture gives me depression. It’s our fault because out of sight out of mind is all we do daily
