I didn’t reply yet and he sends me another one:
Hey dad, there are a lot of components that I have in my gaming pc. Since i reconsidered my budget and we are going to sell my laptop and my laptop stand on ebay, this will give us like 600 dollars with shipping fees and tax. Chris said he can pitch in 150 dollars, and I have like 138 on my money chart right now since I divided 277 by 2 without the decimal. so 600 plus 150 can be 750, while 138 plus 750 = 888. With tax, I think we will be able to afford the pc because the total is 849 dollars and tax wouldn't be over 50 I think. And if we order them soon maybe I can earn a bit more money so we could possibly get the pc even if it has more tax. Let me show you the components.

Just got this email from my 10yo younger son…
can I say no? 🤔
Hey dad, I personally really want a gaming pc. There are many reasons, and it’s mostly because I enjoy technology. I also like watching other people like Chris or whoever build gaming PCs because it looks really cool and it amazes me. Like, “How do all the parts work together and how do you put those systems together and make them work?”. I’ve seen Chris do it once before, and I regret not really participating in the pc building process. But with the help of Chris, Mom, and you, I could build a gaming pc. First there’s the budget. Normally, since Chris has a really good gaming pc that he got for $2000, it performs really well. But even if prices are going up, platforms like eBay can sell used things like RAM (memory), SSD (storage), and other things for a cheaper price if used. Now I’m not going to tell the full components in this build, but just in case I rechecked to see if the parts were compatible and if they would work together. And if the prices skyrocket to prices like 800 or so, Chris said he would pitch in 100 dollars. I also have 277 on my sticker chart right now, and I could sell my laptop and something else to help save up to that price. I really want a pc, and especially since we got the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop for about $1000, getting this for about $700 or $600 would be pretty nice. I’m just asking if I can get one, and if I do, I will be VERY thankful as I know gathering this money is very hard and to provide for a family of 4 is excruciating work. It’s okay if I can’t get one, and I really hope I can. Also, the laptop GeForce RTX 3050 ti has lower fps than the desktop gpu I am planning to currently get. I love you so much, and I hope you say yes. I will sell everything I can without selling other people’s properties to save up enough money for this custom built PC. I think it will be a good learning experience, and I love you so much.
