Almost that time of year where we wait for 🎅 to come down the chimney 🍺 🥃😜. I want to thank the lads and artisans for producing the goods around the horrid weather for what seems like all year ⛳️ ☔️ 🫣. I wish everyone @PhoenixGolfClub and my @X colleagues a merry Christmas.

Finally dry enough (just) for one day….one day only, for a clean up operation before the winds and rain come back. Cutting the wheat field too where possible too @PhoenixGolfClub 🌾🫣😂

Air2g2 on the greens today then onto the football. Will help them drain, break any compaction layers and get those roots a little deeper. Just need the weather to play ball and rest of the course to dry up now @PhoenixGolfClub 🙏

Bents increasing in the sward and loving a verticut followed by 1.18kg/m2 sanding and sarrels over the top. Tomorrow will be a spray of 20/20/30 with influxer excel to keep disease pressure down and elicit some defence. #turflife #greenkeeping @Nathan_Scarff90 @HeadlandAlex

Lads and artisans done amazing again this week, a comp most days and two opens to work round has been tough with staff holidays too. But kudos to them all, they all achieved the best course we could every day for all events @PhoenixGolfClub 🙂👏. #turflife #greenkeeping

Spray of Amm sulphate and urea on the approaches this morning @PhoenixGolfClub before the mid week comp. Should help to shift some red thread after/during the humidity and rains. Luckily pretty much all I’m seeing disease wise atm…touch 🪵🙏. #turflife #weather #perfectstorm

Doing our best for a full set up this morning and clean the weekend debris 💨 before the ladies open. Amazon and a rake out to clean what we can before tee off, but not what you want on a Monday open set up @PhoenixGolfClub 🫣 #turflife

Easing off the greens and giving them some love for a few days after hitting them hard for captains day, granular will help with anthracnose pressure…only a few days going easy though before we hit them hard again for club champs @PhoenixGolfClub @HeadlandAlex 💪
