Still waiting for that bin, Nick! We already have lots of people enjoying the fountain, and we really do need to keep the litter down. Better late than never. @CllrNickSmall
This is good news, as we now have the new information boards in place and are hoping to restart the fountain next month. When that happens we expect visitor numbers to increase and a bin on Drury Lane is just what we need. @tony24764 @LpoolBIDcompany @TourGuideLiverp

Good news for all fountain lovers. Our fountain has now been cleaned and restarted, only for a trial period, and for a few hours each day,but we hope to extend that once essential electrical works have been completed. Exciting times ahead so watch this space!

Why Boris Johnson is finished, in one cartoon. People don’t get over the fury of hypocrisy like this. Thank you @tonyhusband1

Our bucket fountain has been enjoyed by so many people for so many years but we now need all fountain lovers to support our campaign for restoration so it can give the same pleasure for the generations to come.
A lovely family tribute left at the bucket fountain in Drury lane this morning. @voicesforlpool1 @LpoolBIDcompany engageliverpool.com/projects…

Great response to this public survey. Our fountain has sadly been out of order for many months but we're hoping it will be up and running again in the very near future. Watch this space!

It's great news that the first phase of the project to restore our fountain is now underway. You can help to inform the decision on how you would like the final apearance to look by completing this questionnaire. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…

With all due respect @MayorLpool and @Kristoforbrown, they've had four years for a "proper investigation" into #BICo and two secret cracks at it. Perhaps, it's time @lpoolcouncil let people without a vested interest in the continued coverup take a look?! It's called #transparency

Three years later I bet they’ve still never seen a schedule of works. Doubt there’s ever been one, or ever will be if this property developer “persuades” @lpoolcouncil to allow him to continue to breach the terms of his lease with impunity.

“We have not seen a schedule of works. Can you please request these? We will require a full specification together with estimates of cost and/or tendered sum. Sign off will be on practical completion. C is to provide notice of this" #accountability
Great to see so many people enjoying our fountain, which will look even better after the planned repainting. Unfortunately we do have some litter problems so thanks to @CllrNickSmall for assisting us in our attempts to have litter bins installed on the plaza and Drury Lane.

Delighted to report that after more than 12 months out of action our fountain is up and running again. Lovely to see the attention it’s attracting from so many people who stop to enjoy it’s incredible sight and sounds.
