I stopped by the Chevrolet Dealership yesterday, for a look at the new Silverado 2026, 2500 pickup. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new "feel" before they become extinct... The salesman (a man wearing a Biden lapel pin, sat in the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options... and the seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat. Feeling like messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck. Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican truck. I explained that if it were a Democrat truck, the seats would blow smoke up your ass year-round. I had to walk back to the dealership.

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM: This is a well written and thought out article written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve... My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

**Illegal Monday.** You don't deserve it, they do. People who know they are breaking the law still do it because they have a story that makes it feel fair. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the daily news of who did what and where when it comes to immigration we forget to look at the perspective of the other side of this issue. It's really a mess when we do. The most common story is that this land was stolen, so taking something back is justice. That skips the wars, the treaty, the votes, the purchase, and the generations that built institutions here after those facts were settled. It also admits the act: they are taking something that is not theirs and calling it payback. When it was never theirs to take back in the first place. The next story is that Americans will not do the work. That was never a law of nature. Americans did those jobs when the pay and conditions made sense. The economy was stronger when wages stayed here instead of leaving as remittances. The “jobs Americans won’t do” line is useful because it hides the cheaper, more controllable labor that replaced them. Nobody likes to admit the only reason they are working is because they are cheap it doesn't fit a narrative of being better. Then comes the superiority story. Schools back home are weaker on international comparisons, yet the claim is that the people already here are the ones who cannot compete. That ignores who is actually being displaced: graduates of American institutions ranked the best in the world, tradesmen who already held the work, and workers who pass the same skills tests without fake papers or a pipeline that selects for one small region of one country 6 thousand miles away. Fraudulent credentials and skipped inspection are not proof of merit. They are proof of a low-trust method used to enter a high-trust system. Confirmation bias does the rest. If the home country could not produce an economy they could succeed in, the conclusion is not that America owes them the next slot. The conclusion is that they are the last people who should rewrite the rules of the country that still can. A conscience that needs that many excuses is not a conscience doing its job. Bookmark this. A lot of Christians apparently need to hear this: being kind, generous and beloved does not make a false gospel true. I love Dolly Parton. I mean that. But since her passing, I’ve watched Christians point to how kind she was, how much money she gave away, how many books she donated, and how universally beloved she was—as though any of that changes the Gospel. It doesn’t. Dolly publicly said that everyone has their own path to God. That you can call it God, science, nature, energy—whatever works for you. That sounds nice, tolerant, and loving—but it is not Christianity. Jesus did not say He was a way to the Father. He said He is THE way. And I think Christians have become so terrified of appearing judgmental, intolerant or “unkind” that we’ve started confusing worldly niceness with biblical love. Real love does not hide the truth to spare someone’s feelings. I don’t know Dolly’s heart. I don’t know what happened between her and Jesus in the final moments of her life, and I sincerely pray she knew Him. But I can evaluate her public words. So can you. And we should. You can love Dolly. You can celebrate her extraordinary talent, generosity and uniquely American legacy. You can mourn her passing. But we need to be clear on the Gospel message. Truth does not become false because the world hates it. And falsehood does not become truth because it comes from someone the world loves. There are not many roads to God. There is one. Jesus Christ. ✝️

Canada’s Prime Minister says: “We cannot trust America.” Meanwhile, his wife lives in the United States, all four of his children live and study in the United States, 91% of his investment portfolio is reportedly tied to the United States, and he owns a home in the United States. Yet he tells Canadians they can’t trust America. Hypocrisy at its finest.
