Do you know PEEL's PhysX edition ? This is scene 113 featuring a controllable Lego Technic Buggy made of rigid bodies and regular joints (no articulations). You can hide any of the parts to see the simulated mechanism underneath. Physics + Lego = 😍 github.com/Pierre-Terdiman/P…

If it's not broken, don't fucking fix it. Sigh.
McLaren got a rebrand

PhysX benchmarking: remember that the default CPU dispatcher mode (eWAIT_FOR_WORK) can sometimes add a somewhat large overhead.

Speaking of which..... Not really what I see in PEEL but hey, more results.
Physics Arena 0.1.0 is out! I made public benchmark project for comparing physics engines across different scenarios (only one for now :p) early results: BEPU is extremely strong single-threaded Unity DOTS Physics scales very well with multithreading more cases coming

It was not running out-of-the-box (pun) for <reasons> so I asked Claude. Here's what I get for 16 threads. It approximately matches the i7 results.

A similar scene in PEEL shows a slightly different order: Bepu => Box3D => PhysX5 => Jolt. Maybe because of different settings, but overall about the same results. Bepu & Box3D definitely run better with just boxes. Nicely done!

My Bepu2 plugin for PEEL is based on Ross Norby's own "Abomination interop" (what a name)... ... which surprisingly already contained a "copytopeel" script :) I guess I am 3 years late. github.com/RossNordby/scratc…
