Always end the night with a positive thought.....
Mine tonight is that I am grateful for my health.
It was 2 years ago this week that I suddenly became very unwell. In the blink of an eye my life changed, I thought at times it would be forever. But here I am 2 years on and feeling well for about 90% of the time now.
Today I have been reminded that I need to become more positive again.
So look out for more positivity amongst my rants about the state of the country from now on. ๐

That should concern people.
You can argue about migration policy all day, but footage like this raises serious questions about screening, public safety and who is being allowed into the country.

A child left behind, injured in the water, while his father gets onto the boat and leaves French lifeguards to save him.

Crashing waves. Chaos. A child struggling in the water, while his own father boards the boat rather than staying to protect him.
I believe scenes like this expose the failures surrounding these crossings, from the charities involved, to the actions of the French authorities, to the decisions being made by the British Government.
People are becoming increasingly angry about what they are seeing.
I genuinely fear that if confidence in the authorities continues to collapse, some people will eventually try to take matters into their own hands.
To be absolutely clear, I am not condoning, encouraging or supporting violence in any way, shape or form.
