I just saw the trailer for the new Eggers new film "Werwulf" it looks great I mean look this dramatic footage from it. I can think of two reasons right now I want to see it. It's titillating to say the least. I think it will totally be better than Nostferatu, which I personally found dull and boring if only because its just a rip off of the classic Dracula story. He is a great director though and I have always liked the way he shoots his films. I am looking forward to this one though primarily because it is a new story and not a rehash. The Northman was kind of a rehash of Hamlet but since it was based on the original Danish story I did not mind as much. Werwulf I gotta see it for sure.

Question for writers (for conversation sake) -
Do you think it's best to pick a genre and stay there?
(So eventually you'd be known as a SciFi, Fantasy, Horror, etc author)
Or, do you think being able to diversify is something to be utilized?
(And just be known as an author in general)
Personally, I don't want to find myself trapped in a genre when my taste and imagination are all over the place.
