We will share more about our dear friend and colleague later this week, but we at the Playful Learning Lab are holding Eleni and her loved ones in our thoughts.
I am mourning the passing of my friend, collaborator, and PLL/UST colleague, Dr. Eleni Roulis. I will always remember her smiling, and will always be grateful we got to do one big/audacious/fun project together just months before she became sick. I'll miss you, Eleni.

Current lab member, Tyler Muchow got the chance to visit the Minnesota Children's Museum today and see the "Play Lounge" exhibit he helped design! He worked specifically on inspiring the theme for the exhibit along with creating the black and gold cards seen in the picture.

Since the end of March, the lab has been meeting in person every week! Last week, our lab members got the chance to experience and play with projects the lab was previously involved with, like Squishy Circuits and The Colors We Share.

PLL Alumni, Colin Goldbach was recently awarded a fellowship by the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program. Colin worked with the lab for many years as the Engineering lead among other things. Now, he will be researching at MIT!

Last weekend, lab members Makayla and Christina presented at the Bakken Museum for their Women in Science event! They showed Squishycircuits to lots of different kids and parents, one of them even made an amazing-looking red whale.

Last spring, members of the PLL worked extremely hard with the band OK Go to create 6 collaborative music videos called "Art Together Now" that combine art and music with people from around the world!
