He quit in January, reportedly turned down a payout to stay quiet, and now runs Democrats for Mike Rogers. He says what he saw up close made El-Sayed unfit for the Senate, and he says he protected him with a gun while El-Sayed questioned whether police even need one. When the guy who knows you best is a Democrat who walked away and backed the Republican, voters should listen.
