He was thinking of the earlier sabotage by Fred telling him to hold position behind CL when he was 2s per lap faster. When CL said we will work as teammates then held him up with Ferrari approval. His race momentum was lost at that point and all down hill with no trust

I used to defend this guy but yesterday made it very clear that Ferrari’s top priority is to defend their failed investment in the golden boy at all costs, probably directed from people above Vasseur and his palpable irritation and snappiness are proof of it.
