the interesting part isn't "a wallet on iOS." it's turning the phone into a light client + signer that web apps can ask, not an account they custody. crypto UX gets less weird when identity stays with the user and apps become disposable.

🔄 DAO Proposal Sync (Discussion Phase) Project: Pocket Node iOS — bringing the self-custody CKB light-client wallet from Android to iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Mac, with an in-app dApp browser exposing a CCC-compatible signer. No self-custody CKB light-client wallet exists on iOS today, so this closes a real gap in CKB's mobile reach. Applicant: Jr (Nervos talk: Jnr6) This is a follow-on grant, not a resubmission — the previous Android grant closed with all four milestones delivered and the app live at v1.8. Deliverable: The existing Rust light client compiled for iOS via a UniFFI bridge, with transaction building, signing and DAO logic extracted into a shared core so security-critical code is written once. A native SwiftUI app with Secure Enclave key storage and biometric unlock, reaching full Android v1.8 parity (send/receive, sync, Nervos DAO, multi-wallet, address book, localization), then App Store launch. Final milestone adds the in-app CCC signer with a wallet-rendered approval screen that decodes each transaction before signing. Five monthly milestones. Budget: $18,000 USD, over 5 months — $2,500 at kickoff (test devices and Apple Developer Program enrolment), then $3,100 per milestone across M1–M5. Explicitly out of scope: a combined external security audit covering both platforms plus the shared core (deferred until iOS reaches parity), a cross-wallet CCC signer standard with cross-device transport (needs agreement with Quantum Purse, Neuron and CCC maintainers), quantum-resistant lock support, and fiat on/off-ramp.
