The effort by Zionists to use Black voters as human shields here is worth exploring.
Jewish voters don’t have the same demographic power as Black Americans, who are 12% of the population (vs Jews at 2%), and who are prominent in many swing states (eg MI, TX, OH, NC, VA, Fl) unlike Jewish Americans who tend to be concentrated in deep blue states (NY, DC, MD, NJ, MA). Even in swing states that are considered to have large Jewish populations, Jewish representation is fairly small, and they are dwarfed by other minority groups who get a fraction of the attention from the Democratic establishment. (FL is 3.5% Jewish, 29% Hispanic, 16% Black, 3.3 percent Asian, but no one is debating the effect of the Asian vote on Angie Nixon’s race.)
Zionists like Shannon are co-opting traditional appeals made to Black voters about being the *base* of the party, but Jewish voters have nowhere near the same demographic power in a state like MI, which is 1% Jewish and 14% Black. Fully a quarter of all Michigan Dems are Black. (It’s also 4% Asian— again, no one is discussing the Asian American vote.)
Nonetheless, Zionists exert an incredible amount of political influence, despite not being especially demographically relevant, bc of the disproportionate influence of Zionist lobbying. (Eg AIPAC et al.)
The tethering of “Blacks & Jews” is intended to obscure this anti-democratic financial influence, and to launder it as democratic demographic power.
The irony is that the democratic party’s indifference to Black voter demands and constant disciplining of Black Americans through “Sista Souljah” moments clearly shows theres a difference between how much respect money gets you vs votes.
