This has reminded me of a day that will forever live in infamy :
When I found a copy of the Beyond the Valley of the Dolls soundtrack in a 50p each box of CDs but Destiny's Child's 'Survivor' was inside the case.
Still breaks my heart a tiny bit even now.

I 100% agree this is a mega-moment in a mind blowing film, but I'm not so sure this was such a pain in the ass to shoot.
Well rehearsed choreography (via the amazing Toni Basil), a tape measure & a good deal of foresight would have made this time consuming but very achievable.
the match cuts make me lose my mind oh my god fuck them its like they're only switching the lights. can you imagine what a pain in the ass it was to make this in 1968

This ad for ciggies was shot by Peter Medak during one of the many breaks in filming for the Ghost of the Noonday Sun, with Seller's & Milligan flatly refusing to even touch the cigarette pack as they were (supposedly) the Chairman (& Deputy Chair) of the anti-smoking league...

Expected I'd 'like' @CoyoteACMEMovie but ended up loving it.
Felt like old times - a fun & surprisingly touching summer movie, not a bland corporate franchise building behemoth, but a love letter to many different generations of old skool Hollywood entertainment.
