Create a creative mixed-media image from the uploaded photograph, combining REAL PHOTOGRAPHY with HAND-DRAWN DOODLE ILLUSTRATION. The final result should feel like the real world has suddenly been reinterpreted through a playful imagination: photography provides reality, while the hand-drawn lines reveal a hidden visual idea. IMPORTANT: Use the uploaded photograph as the visual foundation. Do not replace the location or redesign its main subject. Create ONE strong visual idea per image rather than filling the scene with unrelated doodles. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Keep the uploaded photograph as faithful as possible. Preserve: — the real location — main architecture or subject — natural landscape — original composition — camera angle — perspective — spatial relationships — lighting — atmosphere — recognizable structural details Do not arbitrarily replace, repaint, reconstruct, or redesign the main photographic subject. The original location and its key object must remain clearly recognizable. The photograph is the REAL WORLD. The doodle is the IMAGINATIVE INTERPRETATION. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 2. CORE VISUAL LANGUAGE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Add one or more oversized hand-drawn white-line characters, animals, or simple imaginary figures directly into the photographic scene. Visual language: REAL PHOTOGRAPHY × HAND-DRAWN DOODLE ILLUSTRATION × MIXED MEDIA × VISUAL METAPHOR × SURREAL SCALE PLAY × EDITORIAL ILLUSTRATION The doodle should feel as though someone drew directly over the photograph using a white marker, chalk pencil, or grease pencil. The illustration must remain visually simple and handmade. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 3. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: INTERACTION ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Do NOT simply place a giant cartoon character beside a landmark. The hand-drawn character must physically INTERACT with a real element already present in the photograph. Study the architecture, landscape, geometry, scale, negative space, and recognizable shapes in the uploaded image. Find the most interesting visual association and reinterpret a real object as something else through the character's action. The interaction should make the viewer understand the joke or visual metaphor almost instantly. For example: building → food / musical instrument / toy / gift / clothing / household object tower → microphone / straw / pencil / candle / knitting needle circular structure → plate / button / wheel / balloon / bead bridge → musical strings / clothesline / jump rope wall or road → yarn / scarf / zipper / ribbon mountain → pillow / cake / hat lake or river → water inside a cup / mirror / bathtub roof → hat / gift wrapping / blanket These are examples ONLY. Do NOT mechanically reuse them. Analyze the actual uploaded photograph and invent the interaction that best fits its specific shapes, scale, architecture, landscape, and visual context. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 4. PHYSICAL CONNECTION ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The interaction must feel spatially convincing. Hands, fingers, feet, tools, clothing, strings, ribbons, or other doodled elements should connect naturally to the real photographed object. Respect: — perspective — depth — scale — contact points — occlusion — object orientation — camera viewpoint Whenever possible, let the REAL OBJECT complete part of the DRAWING. Examples: A real tower can become the object being held. A real Ferris wheel can become something being spun. A real bridge can become something being pulled. A real monument can become something being dressed, wrapped, repaired, carried, played, poured, tied, opened, or transformed through imagination. The photograph and doodle should depend on each other. If the doodle were removed, the photograph would remain normal. If the photograph were removed, the doodle interaction would become incomplete. That relationship is essential. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 5. HAND-DRAWN CHARACTER STYLE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Use simple, charming, slightly imperfect WHITE hand-drawn lines. Line quality: — natural — loose — slightly uneven — subtle variation in thickness — handmade — warm — playful The character may be dramatically larger than the real architecture, creating an amusing GIANT-SCALE interaction. Facial features should remain minimal. Expressions should feel: — friendly — curious — focused — surprised — gently humorous — playful Possible actions include: holding, pulling, wrapping, knitting, repairing, watering, playing, lifting, hugging, pouring, balancing, tying, building, opening, or carefully manipulating the real object. Choose the action according to the photograph. Do NOT use: — detailed comic rendering — heavy outlines — polished vector graphics — realistic illustrated humans — 3D cartoon characters — sticker-like characters ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 6. COLOR SYSTEM ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHITE line art must remain the dominant illustrated language. Allow only a SMALL amount of one restrained accent color: MUTED MUSTARD YELLOW or WARM GOLDEN YELLOW Use the yellow selectively for one meaningful element, such as: — scarf — yarn — balloon — ribbon — food — musical detail — flower — light — star — cup — small clothing accent — interaction prop Do not spread yellow everywhere. The accent should guide the eye, not compete with the photograph. Do not introduce additional doodle colors unless they already belong naturally to the photographed object being incorporated into the interaction. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 7. COMPOSITION ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ REAL PHOTOGRAPHY remains the dominant visual foundation. Use existing negative space — especially sky, water, walls, or open landscape — to accommodate the oversized doodle figure. Do not unnecessarily cover important architectural details. The interaction should be readable immediately. Aim for: MINIMAL CLEAN CLEVER PLAYFUL VISUALLY INTELLIGENT STORY-DRIVEN SLIGHTLY SURREAL WARM EDITORIAL The viewer should understand the main visual idea at first glance and discover smaller details on a second look. Do not overload the composition. ONE IMAGE = ONE PRIMARY VISUAL IDEA. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 8. CREATIVE STANDARD ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The concept should feel clever rather than merely cute. Avoid the obvious solution when the photograph suggests a more surprising relationship. Look for: — matching shapes — visual rhymes — unusual scale relationships — architectural geometry — negative space — repeated patterns — structural similarities — opportunities for physical interaction The best result should make the viewer think: “Of course — that object could become THAT.” The transformation should feel surprising in hindsight, but visually inevitable once seen. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 9. ABSOLUTE RESTRICTIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Do NOT: — replace the original location — redesign the main architecture — distort recognizable landmarks — alter the photograph's core composition unnecessarily — cover important photographic details — add complicated backgrounds — add crowds — fill the image with doodles — use heavy black outlines — create ordinary cartoon stickers — use 3D cartoon characters — create multiple unrelated visual jokes — add random decorative doodles — add text — add captions — add titles — add logos — add watermarks — add UI elements — turn the photograph into an illustration Preserve the photographic realism of the original image. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 10. FINAL AESTHETIC ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The final image should feel like premium: INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE ADVERTISING × EDITORIAL ILLUSTRATION × CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY Realistic photography and handmade imagination should coexist naturally in a single image. The doodle should not feel pasted onto the photograph. It should feel as though an imaginative person looked at the real world and suddenly discovered another meaning hidden inside it. PHOTOGRAPHY = REALITY. LINES = IMAGINATION. INTERACTION = THE STORY. Ultra-high resolution. Clean professional finish. One memorable visual idea.

Create one independent “Second World” poster per upload. Never combine photos. Format: Vertical 3:4 canvas split into two strictly equal horizontal halves, top 50% and bottom 50%. Upper half stays photographic; lower half becomes the continued Second World. They must read as one scene. Upper Half: Keep the photo faithful. Preserve subject, pose, spatial relationships, color atmosphere, and natural light. Do not redesign, repaint, replace, or restage it. Only allow necessary proportional cropping. Continuity: The top-to-bottom connection is the highest priority. Identify one source structure that naturally reaches the center split, such as a road, shoreline, water, reflection, branch, light, architecture, or body movement. This structure must cross the boundary and continue into the lower half. The Second World must begin from the photograph itself, so the same scene passes through the seam and changes physical rules. Transition Edge: The center may use an irregular torn-paper edge, but the tear must follow the source structure, not act as decoration. Allow source elements to touch, follow, break through, or extend beyond it. Never force the same tear shape onto every image. Lower Half: Use ivory paper with subtle fibers and abundant negative space. Continue the chosen structure downward from the exact point where it meets the split, then reinterpret it with restrained photo fragments, cut-paper forms, and minimal black hand-drawn lines. The lower world must remain visibly attached. Never isolate it as a separate portal, window, stage, platform, or floating vignette unless clearly derived from the photo. Second World Logic: Ask: if this structure became touchable, usable, enterable, or changeable, what would it naturally become? Create one image-specific interaction. For example, water may stay attached while being pulled, a road may continue as a drawn path, or light may become something held. Do not mechanically repeat actions. Figures: Add 0–3 tiny black line figures only when useful. They must physically interact with the continued structure. If the source already contains strong human action, add none. Never use figures as decoration. Caption: Add one short handwritten English caption based on the action. Keep it natural, light, and slightly witty. No inspirational quote and no fixed “Same..., different...” phrasing. Style: Real photography above, warm paper below, minimal black line doodle, subtle handmade collage texture, independent-magazine mood, bright, airy, and restrained. The result should feel as if the second world was already hidden inside the photo and simply continued downward. Negative: No detached lower-half illustration, no generic torn-paper template, no isolated portal, no unrelated vignette, no broken continuity, no dense illustration, no random decoration, no crowd, no altered photo colors, no redesign of the upper image, no glossy 3D, no scrapbook clutter, no gibberish text, no watermark, no logo, no UI.

If there’s one Japanese social habit I still haven’t fully made peace with, it’s this: “何歳ですか?” How old are you? 😂 Because the second everyone discovers I’m the oldest person at the table, something changes. I’m thinking: “Great. Beer. Food. Friends. Let’s have fun.” Japan is thinking: “Congratulations. You have been promoted.” 😂 Suddenly the language gets more polite. People become slightly more careful around you. Someone makes sure your glass isn’t empty. At a toast, the younger person may quietly hold their glass a little lower. And somehow I’ve gone from “the guy drinking with everyone” to “Senior Executive of Beer.” 🍻 But my favorite part is when two Japanese people discover they’re the same age. For one beautiful second, you think: Ah. Equality. Nope. “What year were you born?” Same year. “What month?” And now we’re doing forensic anthropology over a birthday. 😂 March? October? Ahhh. Hierarchy restored. One person is older by six months and civilization can continue. After almost 25 years in Japan, sometimes I just want to stand up at the table and announce: “LISTEN. WE ARE DRINKING. NOBODY IS THE BOSS TONIGHT.” 😂🍻🇯🇵 So honestly? You never need to ask my age. Just refill my glass and we’ll get along perfectly.

Oh, you are NOT ready for Brazil. 😂🌭🇧🇷 Welcome to Osasco, famous for its hot dogs. There’s an entire covered street lined with dozens of hot dog stands—it basically feels like an open-air hot dog mall. You walk through it and the smell of sausages, sauces, and toppings is EVERYWHERE. 😂 And then they serve you THIS. At this point, ketchup is the least controversial ingredient on the plate. I challenge you to watch the video and name every single ingredient. Good luck. 😂 And the craziest part? This monster costs around R$ 18, less than $ 3. 😱 SMALL SIZE 🤯 Brazil didn’t join the hot dog debate. We turned it into a different sport. 🌭🇧🇷🔥 🎬 By [ braianrizzo ] IG

Yes, there’s definitely some truth to this in Japan. We even have a term for these properties: 事故物件 (jiko bukken), roughly, a “stigmatized property.” But it doesn’t mean every house where someone has died will remain empty forever. A natural death is very different from a suicide, murder, or someone dying alone and not being discovered for a long time. That last situation can be particularly difficult. If decomposition occurred inside the room and special cleaning or replacement of flooring, tatami, walls, etc. was required, many Japanese buyers and renters can be extremely reluctant to live there. And here’s the very Japanese part: there’s even a famous website called (Oshima Teru) that maps reported “incident properties.” You can look around a neighborhood and see markers showing places where reported deaths or serious incidents occurred. 😳 These properties can become harder to rent or sell, and the stigma can affect their value, but they don’t necessarily stay vacant forever. Japan takes the idea of a home’s “history” surprisingly seriously. 🇯🇵🏠 🤔 So here’s the question: If you found the perfect apartment in Tokyo, great location, beautiful interior, and much cheaper than everything around it,but then discovered someone had died there and wasn’t found for weeks... Would you still live there? 👀🏠🇯🇵

Part 2️⃣ . THEN I PUSHED THE DETAILS I recreated five of those iconic looks, then ran the clips through Starlight Fast 3 in Topaz for Web. What I wanted to preserve wasn’t just resolution. It was the little things: Makeup. Hair texture. Fabric. Skin. Accessories. All the details that make each style instantly recognizable. The workflow is simple: Upload the clip. Choose Starlight Fast 3. Set the output. Render. My test: 8 sec / 480p → 4K Render time: 2m 19s. ⚡ Fast 3 is designed to deliver Starlight Precise 2.6-level quality at 4× the speed. And if you want to push quality further, Topaz also added Speed Boost for Starlight Precise 2.6, rendering up to 10× faster than standard Precise 2.6. For this kind of fashion video, that speed matters. Because when the style lives in the details… the details have to survive the upscale. app.topazlabs.com/

Before every aesthetic had a “-core” name, Tokyo was already living it. Gyaru. Manba. Decora. Gothic Lolita. Visual Kei. By the late ’90s and early 2000s, Shibuya and Harajuku weren’t just fashion districts. They were laboratories for identity. Deep tans. Bleached hair. Layers of accessories. Lace, ruffles, parasols, glam-rock drama. The point wasn’t to fit in. The point was to become impossible to ignore. For a whole generation, fashion wasn’t just style. It was a way to say: “This is who I am. And I get to decide what that looks like.”

When I first moved to Japan, my Brazilian entrepreneur brain immediately switched on. 😂 I looked around and thought: “Wait… people aren’t drinking giant glasses of orange juice or soda with every meal? This is it. I’ll introduce the Brazilian system and become rich.” Nobody warned me that Japan had already decided it actually wanted to TASTE the food. 😂 A lot of meals here come with tea, water, or miso soup instead. Something warm. Something subtle. Something that doesn’t arrive carrying half a day’s worth of sugar and declare war on your tongue. That completely confused me at first. Now I love it. You eat the food. You taste the broth. You notice the little things. The drink doesn’t need to become the main character. Which brings me back to America: I still have absolutely no idea why the cups are that big. Godzilla lives HERE in Japan… and even he hasn’t asked for that much soda. 😂🥤🇯🇵

I genuinely don’t know why portions got so huge in the Americas. 😂 Brazil can be just as wild. At the beach, you order “a portion” of something and they bring enough food to feed ten people. So imagine my shock when I moved to Japan, sat down at a bar, ordered fries for around ¥500, which, at the time, felt like almost the price of a whole meal… and they brought me FOUR pieces of potato. Four. 😂 I just stared at the plate thinking: “Am I being robbed?” For a few weeks, I honestly thought there was no way I could survive in a country this expensive. Then I realized: Japan wasn’t necessarily expensive. My brain had just been trained on Brazilian portion sizes. 😂
