Beautiful couple of days in London ♥️💐 We shopped till we dropped, slept in past 6am, watched the incredible Matilda, ate our body weight in food and, most importantly, I got to spend quality time with my eldest 🥰

World Cup fever officially set in at school today, following the PTFA mufti day. My lunchtime football card swap club was a hit, so much so, I’ve now been talked into it being an every Friday lunchtime thing, until the end of term! 🙃⚽️🇸🇪

Was reminded of this ‘Titanium’ writing unit today whilst discussing planning with one of our y6 teachers. Remembered this tweet from years ago and was reminded of how much I love teaching writing and really miss it. Must try harder to do more of this!
Having not been class-based for a while, I’ve really missed that classroom ‘buzz’!🐝 I am absolutely loving being back in class temporarily and have been blown away by the incredibly high standard of writing this Year 6 class can produce! 😍All credit to their previous teachers!
