Doing the hard thing is the only moat. No shortcuts. And if you’re collecting data, you need have a very clean plan to graduate out of being a data company.
Now, back to work.
After 2+ years in the robotics data space, we are shutting @Eidon_AI down.
The thesis was right. But the business is brutally hard.
We close this chapter by open-sourcing everything we built and sharing lessons for anyone venturing into the space.

We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

We gave gpt6 Astra control of deployed robots, Unitree G1 and a bimanual YAM setups. It was significantly worse than what you see on X. Picking and placing a cube is one thing. Doing a real task in a real factory is an entirely different thing. I’ll write it up in detail later.

Turns out she saw an ad, signed up and bought the headmount. She’s already recording household + retail tasks on iphone. Will be earning “decent money for years”, as the company told her.
