Recency bias must have the Carolina Hurricanes winning the metro when they are far from it on paper. Massive losses on D and F and Kochetkov is unproven in starter role. 3 or 4 in the division at most.

Can't imitate desperation , can't practice desperation, it can only be felt by the person and his actions draw in the rest team .. the teams and talent level in the NHL is so close , that 80-90 % of playoff games are won by the more desperate team ...

Tampa Bay color guy just stated kucherov don't dive , and then they showed replay of him diving .. but bolts had just got hosed by a dive by ehlers ... I am sure on the jets broadcast the guy had just got thru saying ehlers don't dive ...
