We are leaving X. It has become evident that the platform is bringing more bad than good to our lives to our politics.
Before Musk bought it, Twitter had its issues but it always seemed like they were solvable. Since he has bought it the place has been swamped by extreme views, misinformation, hateful content, déepfakes, oots, questionable algorithms, hackers & more bad stuff. That's before you get to Grok, and the recent troubling escalation of child sexual abuse material being created by users.

We are under no illusion that our leaving will have any impact on the greater landscape ot social nedia, but we will be part of the wave looking for positive changes needed in this world. This needs mass action now. We encourage all other political activist groups, political parties, politicians, news channels, sports channels, entertainment channels, etc. to be part of that necessary change, and to leave X.

You can find us on other platforms including
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads & WhatsApp. These plattorms are not without their owr issues we know, but they pale in comparison compared to X, and for now it makes sense to continue on them to promote a more progressive & positive tuture tor Northern Ireland & beyond.

1) Stand with Iranians fighting for democracy and freedom against a theocratic tyranny.
2) Oppose any Western intervention in Iran.
3) Oppose one dictatorship being replaced by another.
Whatever you think of Maduro’s government in Venezuela, a world where the U.S. can just go into a country to bomb it & kidnap their leader is a scary & unjust world.

Thousands celebrate Culture Night's return to streets of Belfast
Aerial gymnasts, jugglers and other performers marked the return of Culture Night in Belfast on Friday, which also played host to the first-ever pop-up from acclaimed New York pub The Dead Rabbit which was founded by two barmen from Belfast.
The popular annual event, which is held with the aim of celebrating the city's vibrant arts and culture, was held virtually in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic, returning to in-person the following year but on a much smaller scale.

“I'm often called left wing because I'm interested in compassion. I don't think being compassionate has a political stance. I think being kind, being sympathetic, being compassionate is something we're all capable of and all want to do in certain areas.”
On whether people could boycott his stores because of his support for Gaza:
“Absolutely. That's what you should do. You shouldn't come into my shop. Because I'm going to take those profits you're giving me and I'm going to do more of that - so you absolutely shouldn't support me.”
