@BruceBanman Abbotsford South stood on stage, invoked his grandchildren, called Kerry-Lynne D Findlay the next Premier, and told conservatives to get in the boat or the NDP would sink them.
He said it would be a cold day in hell before he loaded his grandson’s car and admitted he never fought for him.
⁉️Three days later he quit the caucus and branded her unelectable.
That was not a crisis of conscience. That was a setup.
He used those kids as cover, sold unity to the room, then drove the knife into her back.
If he can lie that well on camera, he can lie to anyone.
Watch him praise her. Then watch what he did.

I'm actually impressed the NDP would get 32% in an online poll like this
ONEBC JUST EXPLODED TO 17.8% IN THIS POLL.
They were sitting around 1–4% in recent published polling.
That is an enormous jump.
OneBC’s message has been simple:
FAMILY. FREEDOM. PROSPERITY.
If this movement holds, B.C. politics just got a LOT more interesting.
Voters clearly aren’t happy with the status quo.

Justify the election by saying you had a very tiny majority that could go away whenever one person was sick
Then just campaign on stability. And go more intellectual, respect the voters. It obviously works, look at Carney. No more dumbass "the BC cons would make us the 51st State", go high. Eby himself is obviously a smart guy, stop pretending to be dumb and thinking voters are dumb
People aren't happy there's an election but in 30 days, they'll still need to decide which team they want in power while going through all the current crises. Surely it shouldn't be too hard to make the case that the NDP team is safer. But so far the campaign has been a disaster

BC Liberals get priority in the BC Conservative Party.
Incumbent CPBC MLA Lynne Block was in a safe seat and now is in a riding that the BC NDP won in 2024 by a margin of 17% so that Caroline Elliott (former BC Liberal VP) can take Block's original seat.
This is the sort of thing that makes people HATE politics.

A bit of reshuffling here, as Elliott takes the place of incumbent MLA Lynne Block, who has been moved to the significantly less safe riding of North Vancouver-Seymour. That riding has gone NDP in the last two elections following a long history of voting BC Liberal.
