Today, a public stream has now paid out for the first time. Two PRs from two different contributors, one milestone: the stream payout was split to each, sent to an address each contributor bound themselves after the agent had judged their work.
Nobody was named when the stream was deployed. And this was the implementation of the public streams mode we just launched.

Signer enforcement built and verified.
We've finished building and validating the signer gate on the milestone escrow. An outsider signed an attestation for 96% of a 50 USDC milestone and sent it. The contract reverted `WrongSigner` as it should. Money only moves on the appointed agent's signature, nobody else's.

Arc mainnet went live yesterday, with BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC and Standard Chartered running validators alongside Circle.
ProofStream runs on Arc testnet for now. Mainnet is where our agent-verified payments are headed next.

We know it’s mainnet day on @arc but, We still have to share our latest milestone with everyone.
In our bid to increase functionality of Streams, we geared towards having bounties supported as streams.
Before now, a Stream had exactly one Payee that gets chosen during stream creation. But now, we have released Public and Claimable streams.
In a nutshell, with claimable streams, you do not need to name a contributor at the time of creation. Instead, you get a shareable link that the contributor can sign a transaction on Arc to claim. For public streams, multiple people can be contributors and the agent can accept work from multiple people and they all earn a share depending on the amount of work they did.
This was only recently launched and is currently being tested as we hear towards launching on mainnet in a few days.

ProofStream has run on Arc testnet since July with real contracts, real agent verdicts, real USDC transfers, just not real money yet.

One thing about most autonomous agents is that, in way human are still involved in the processes.
While building ProofStream, we tought about how best we can make agents completely autonomous. Circle already provide the needed infrastructure, so we just look for the perfect way to make it work.
On ProofStream the agent don't just realise payment after the work is done, it verifies, test and also buy opinion from another agent before releasing what it ceritify based on evidence. It release the payment with no extra delay.
That is why we name it ProofStream, Proof the stream.
@ProofStream_ is still currently functioning on within the walls of GitHub, tho we are working on expanding our infrastructure to other platforms soon.

The uncomfortable truth about most autonomous payments is that the so called "autonomous payments" still have a human sitting behind a dashboard, doing some administrative functions. That’s not automation. That’s a rubber stamp with a wallet address attached.
The big question is, does the money still move if nobody is watching?
On ProofStream, the agent doesn’t pay because someone told it to. It pays because it’s convinced based on the proof it ingested from the repo, the conditions it verified against the issue or PR, the logic it ran.

We just implemented Sandbox on ProofStream.
Before now, our agent just check against milestone and verify the the level of correctness.
This Sandbox enables it to live test the job before realising the payment and also the sandbox servers as an additional verification layer.
We are currently working on perfecting this phase. In the meantime time, help use test and drop feedbacks.

Hiring a deleloper is not an issue
You need someone who:
can read the actual code
can score it against the milestone
is trusted enough to release funds
It's not compulsory the person is the employer or the contributor.
That party doesn't have to be human.
It can be bounded, it can't pay more than the rules allow, it can't skip the second opinion. It only can't override its own caps.
ProofStream is that: an agent with its own wallet that physically cannot exceed its mandate, even when it wants to.
Here's how we fixed work payroll:
1. Should be sets accrual rate or budget
2. Funds accrue but stay locked
3. Contractor ships a PR → AI verifies → on-chain unlock.
4. Developer claims USDC instantly.
