My submission for the @XLayerOfficial Hackathon PropChain an AI-verified real-world-asset (RWA) marketplace, built on X Layer. The problem: ▪︎ Peer-to-peer resale of physical assets, phones, land, cars, gadgets has always run on trust and screenshots. ▪︎A buyer has no way to check if a seller actually owns what they're selling until money's already changed hands. ▪︎ PropChain puts verification, ownership, and settlement on-chain instead. Who this helps: 🔹 Buyers get an AI-checked listing instead of a stranger's word, and Hold & Inspect means you're never forced to pay blind. Inspect in person, then confirm or walk away. 🔹 Sellers with legitimate assets stand out from scam listings verification becomes proof, not just a claim. 🔹 Markets with weak paper trails (used phones, informal land sales, secondhand vehicles) get an on-chain record of what was checked and when something that barely exists today outside formal title systems. How it works: 🔹 List — seller uploads proof of ownership. 🔹 Verify — AI checks the document in real time, before anything can be minted 🔹 Mint — once approved, the asset becomes an NFT, with real listing photos pinned to IPFS via Pinata (no placeholder metadata) 🔹 Buy — purchase outright, or use Hold & Inspect Hold & Inspect, in detail: This is the part I think matters most for physical assets. A buyer locks funds in an escrow contract for a set window instead of paying the seller directly. During that window, they inspect the item in person. If it's as described, they confirm the purchase and funds release to the seller. If it's not, they can walk away and get refunded, minus a small revocation fee. If the window expires with no action, the hold resolves automatically. The money never touches the seller until the buyer says it's good. Built on X Layer: ▪︎ Wallet connection runs through a custom EIP-6963 layer, so it works with any injected wallet — OKX Wallet, MetaMask, whatever the user already has. ▪︎ Contracts (NFT, Marketplace, Escrow) are live on X Layer testnet, with reads and writes going straight through viem. I built it so even someone who's never touched crypto before can open it and just use it connect, list, buy without needing to understand what's happening on-chain underneath. My submission for the @nimiq Hackathon @PropChainn is an AI-verified real-world-asset (RWA) marketplace originally built as a fully working Nimiq Pay Mini App. The idea: peer-to-peer resale of physical assets (phones, land, cars, gadgets) has always run on trust and screenshots. PropChain puts verification, ownership, and settlement on-chain instead. How it works: ▪︎ List — a seller uploads proof of ownership for their asset ▪︎ Verify — the document goes through AI verification in real time before anything can be minted ▪︎ Mint — once approved, the asset becomes an NFT, with real listing photos pinned to IPFS (via Pinata) so metadata isn't just a placeholder ▪︎ Buy — buyers purchase outright, or use Hold & Inspect: pay now, inspect the item in person, and get refunded (minus a small fee) if it's not as described within the window Built with the Nimiq Pay SDK: The entire wallet layer runs through Nimiq Pay's Mini App SDK wallet connect happens natively inside the Nimiq Pay app, no separate wallet extension. Mini Apps currently support Ethereum Sepolia as their EVM testnet, so the contracts were deployed there and all client-side reads/writes go through the SDK's connected wallet, with a direct RPC layer for reliable on-chain state reads. This let PropChain plug an existing EVM contract suite (NFT + Marketplace + Escrow) straight into Nimiq Pay's mobile-first payment flow with minimal rework.
