How I made $100k+ trading the FIFA World Cup on
@Polymarket, and finished as a Top 30 Smart Trader twice.
One of the biggest edges wasn't predicting football, and I barely know football.
It was through tracking smart money behaviors.
Most World Cup traders bet based on intuition, fandom, headlines, or emotion. Meanwhile, the 80%+ of traders lose money.
Looking at Polymarket data, from hundreds of thousands of FIFA WC users on polymarket, only ~800 accounts made $10k+ from FIFA World Cup trading. Among them:
• ~685 accounts made $10k–100k
• ~96 accounts made $100k–1M
• ~19 accounts made $1M+
The top 10 wallets generated over ~$60M in combined profits.
What's even more interesting is that many of these wallets don't trade hundreds of times. They wait for specific situations where they appear to have an edge—whether that's superior football knowledge, better models, sharper information flow, even possible insider trading.
My strategy was simple:
I used
@Prophetzone Smart Money + Telegram alerts to monitor abnormal wallet activity in real time, then researched and selectively mirrored traders with repeatable behavior.
At any given time, I only follow 3–5 wallets, constantly rotating the list as their edge changes.
Prophet currently tracks 124 FIFA-only Smart Money accounts, making it much easier to study their positioning and build your own trading strategy instead of blindly copying every whale.

Good luck to everyone trading the World Cup on
