Most developers stop at "it works." But the real question is how it behaves when your users grow from 100 to 100,000.
Two things decide that: how fast your code runs and how much memory it uses. Some algorithms barely notice the extra load. Others slow to a crawl.
In a regular app, that means a slow screen. On the blockchain, every operation is metered, so the wrong choice means higher fees, or a transaction that fails outright. That's why in hybrid products, I keep the heavy lifting off-chain and only put what truly needs trust on-chain.
Write code that works. Then write code that scales.
