I’ve been in crypto for a while now, and one thing I’ve learned is that you really have to believe in yourself. There were times I had to keep showing up when nobody was paying attention. Creating content. Meeting new people. Joining communities. Learning new things. Looking for opportunities. Some days everything feels like it’s moving. Other days it feels like you’re putting in all this effort and nothing is happening. But I’ve learned not to stop just because the results aren’t immediate. I’m still building. Still learning. Still meeting people. Still taking opportunities when they come. I don’t have everything figured out yet, but I know I’m further than where I started. And for me, that’s enough reason to keep going. One thing about this Web3 journey, you can’t afford to disappear on yourself. There will be days when you feel motivated and days when you don’t. There will be opportunities you get and some you miss. There will be people who support you and people who never notice what you’re doing. I’ve experienced all of it. But I’ve also learned that consistency can take you places motivation never will. So I keep creating. I keep learning. I keep connecting with people. I keep putting myself out there. Maybe everything I’m working on won’t make sense today. But I believe the work will make sense later. Still building my name. Still building my network. Still building my future. One day at a time. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m not behind. I’m just on my own journey. Social media can make it look like everyone is winning at the same time. Someone gets a new job. Someone launches a project. Someone gets a big opportunity. Someone suddenly blows up. And you start wondering when it will be your turn. I’ve had those moments too. But I’m learning to focus on what I can control. Show up. Do the work. Create. Learn. Build relationships. Take opportunities seriously. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m definitely not where I started. So I’ll keep going. My story is still being written.

This time last year, I resigned from my teaching job. I was earning ₦50k, and that month, my salary was increased to ₦70k. Funny enough, I left the same month they started increasing it. 😂😭 I decided to focus fully on Web3 because of InfoFi, Binance Alpha and everything I thought was coming with it. But guess what? I suffered for the first 4 months. 😂 Binance Alpha failed me. InfoFi died. I ran into debts. I even lost my account in the process. But I didn't give up. I kept hosting Spaces. I kept speaking. I kept showing up. I kept pushing, even when things weren't making sense. And today, I sat down and realized something that really touched me. I've made what would have been my yearly salary from hosting Space for few hours, and I've made my monthly salary from speaking for just 30 minutes in a Space. When I remembered where I was this time last year, it really meant a lot to me. I'm not saying this to brag. I'm saying this because there were days I genuinely didn't know how things would work out. Please, don't give up. Ask people for help. Put yourself out there. PYO. Keep learning. Keep showing up. And most importantly, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. Your current situation is not the final chapter.
