I don't think there should be any "protected" adult groups singled out by the law. That goes for indigenous, trans, gay, women, men.. All citizens should be protected and respected equally and none singled out for special status.

The thing that anti AI people just don't get is that AI creators are genuinely having fun and enjoy using AI as a creative outlet. An anti very elegantly asked me, "Seriously, who the fuck is this horseshit slop for?" I told him, it's for me because I enjoy making it. He thought this was an embarrassing thing for me to admit and with that exposed that these ultimate defenders of art, know absolutely nothing about art. Art is about personal expression and while artists will admit that it's nice when other people enjoy their work, that isn't really the goal. We make art because there is something inside of us clawing to get out. An idea, a belief, a story begging to be brought into the world. When that happens an artist finds whatever medium they can to bring it out. It's not important that others like it. It's not important that it be accepted by the masses. It's not important that some nose in the air critic gives it their approval. What's important is that it was made. This is what the antis don't understand. We aren't making stuff for you. We're making it for ourselves. We're making it because we enjoy the process. We're making it because we're having fun. We're making it because we have a story in our minds and we want to express it. Your approval of what we do is not needed. This is why none of the insults the antis throw will ever stop an AI artists from creating and only succeeds in revealing to the world how bitter, angry, and clueless they really are.

i implore all mathematicians to use ai and feed it as much data as possible. there’s more to being human than receiving medals for the work of our minds. let’s train the next frontier to replace and enhance our cognitive work so we can solve everything that can be solved. people are suffering and our egos should not stop the progress that could end this suffering.

So future of math seems to be 1. People who need practical math results are happy, the machine god fulfills all their needs 2. People who want to be good at craft of math are happy, like chess even after machine god completely obviates the need for humans for (1) humans can still dramatically increase their level by learning from the machine god. 3. People who cared about specialness of their status are unhappy, the Machine God will forever be better than them. But also foolish to think that some hairless monkeys would ever remain at the peak of an abstract field like math.

“AI art doesn’t have any soul!!” My brother in christ have you SEEN what people are trying to pass off as “art” recently? The entire art scene has been a vapid wasteland since at least the mid 2000s if not earlier. A veritable fleet of talentless deviantart furry porn aficionados who think they are worthy of $500 commissions, who barely know how to wield a sakura pigma micron let alone create real art, trying to gatekeep creative expression as if they are leaders in some avant garde movement. I will have none of it.

I mean, the reason I learned Blender and music production and everything else was because I had a burning artistic vision I felt unhealthily compelled to share with the world and had to trudge through all that to get there. Everyone else just wanted some job, I guess.

I will never understand this common egotistical view so many artists have.. Why learn to play baseball knowing you won't be the best player in the world? Or piano, or hockey, or PROGRAMMING, or ice skating, and on and on. AI revolution is exposing who does art for fun vs EGO...

In good. conscience, how can Robinhood as a U.S. company set up an operation in far offshore Jersey, an island 3000 miles away, and market a security sort of posing as AMC in some shape or fashion, and not comply with U.S. securities laws. That is shocking and shameful. Our past issuance of equity to strengthen our balance sheet was vital to our success. Your setting up some kind of fictitious synthetic equity market decouples stock token ownership from a company’s ability to control its own capital raising efforts. Share ownership gives shareholders various rights, including the right to vote their shares. Your stock token pretend to be some form of stock ownership, but disclosures to the contrary notwithstanding, they are not ownership and they deprive investors of their rights. This quasi-fake market you are creating on the island of Jersey sows distrust amongst the public about financial markets in general. There already is distrust in financial institutions, you are potentially making it far worse. These are but a few of my concerns about your actions. I hereby call on you and Robinhood to voluntarily CEASE AND DECIST the trading of AMC stock tokens. If you don’t, our high priced securities counsel has been asked to see whether we can force you to stop. I also wonder how can the SEC possibly support your sham ignoring of U.S. securities laws. You can be sure we will be asking them.
