In a world increasingly dominated by algorithms, AI, and the agendas of the powerful, it's becoming harder to discern what is real and what is not. The information we consume is often manipulated, filtered, and presented in a way that serves specific interests, rather than reflecting the objective truth. This distortion of reality can leave us feeling disconnected, confused, and unsure of our place in the world. In the face of this challenge, many people are turning to spiritual practices to find a sense of grounding and connection. Rituals, meditation, prayer, and living in accountable communities can provide a way to anchor ourselves to our higher selves, the part of us that exists beyond the noise and chaos of the modern world. As Terrence McKenna observed, the world can sometimes feel like a fire in a madhouse at the end of time. The constant barrage of information, much of it false or misleading, can be overwhelming. But as Andy from "The Shawshank Redemption" discovered, there is a freedom that exists within us, a place that is beyond the reach of prison wardens, governments, AI, and predatory algorithms. By cultivating a rich spiritual life, we can tap into this inner freedom and find a sense of peace and clarity amidst the madness. Through practices like meditation and prayer, we can learn to quiet the mind and connect with our higher selves. By living in accountable communities, we can find support and connection with others who share our values and aspirations. Ultimately, the way forward in a world of lies and half-truths is to remember that the most important truth is the one that resides within us. By connecting with our higher selves and cultivating a rich spiritual life, we can find the strength and resilience to navigate the challenges of the modern world and live with purpose and meaning.

Millions of Americans angered by COVID tyranny rallied behind Trump and Kennedy to secure their power. COVID directly impacted every single voter, yet pandemic accountability has been brushed aside to serve the interests of BigPharma. This is not what we voted for, and we must use our leverage to send a strong message to the people we elected to represent us. @TrialsiteN

My ancestors came here 400 years ago from the most advanced civilizations of the time, to an untamed wilderness with nothing awaiting them but danger and hardship. You arrived 5 minutes ago from a dirty slum to leech off Americans while crying about racism. Go back to your home.

This week on “People pretending to be honest” 2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. But this time we have the proof. We know you live in Clonee and only we are to busy to call and on you and collect either the money or claim the produce back….. I bet your husband will be mortified when he sees this🤭 We think ah good shaming is in order! In fact the daughters egg carrying ability is worthy of a job! We would be thankful if you shared so we could get a name for these two. They aren’t welcome back at Dunne’s farm and be sure to remind them if you see them🕵️ For the record… When we post these videos, We’re not looking for pity, sympathy or anything of the sort. We run a farm, we work hard, and unfortunately there will always be a certain type of people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to take what doesn’t belong to them. We just happen to believe that in a fair and honest world, dishonest behaviour should have consequences — and sometimes a little public embarrassment is one of them. 😏 #dunnesfarmeggthief #dunnesfarmeggs #dishonest #eggrobbery

Statement issued by New Day Austin, in response to today's AFSCME press conference opposing Prop I (and attended by six Council sycophants): 📷 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Statement from New Day Austin AUSTIN, TEXAS, October 7, 2026 Today’s press conference underscores exactly why Austin needs a new City Council and why Austin needs to mandate regular City efficiency audits in its Charter. Austin needs a new direction at City Hall. These incumbents and their self-serving special interests simply failed to get the drift from last fall’s defeat, by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, of their proposed 20% tax increase under Prop Q. As city employees, these union members are supposed to be public servants. That means they are supposed to serve the public, rather than the public serving them. They are, in fact, the most resistant force against change. The public deeply mistrusts the City Council’s spending decisions. The reckless City Council majority needs to be replaced with responsible citizens who will put the household budget ahead of the city budget, who will abide by the public will, and who will welcome the scrutiny for savings that a Prop I audit would mandate before going back to the voters and asking for more. How is it that an audit is good if the Council requires it, but bad if the public requires it? In a democracy, citizens create their government. They can vote directly on laws and policies, such as Prop I, and they can elect public officials to represent them. Elected officials derive their power from the public, not the other way around. Austin voters want the government to take a different direction. We have a golden opportunity to correct our course in the upcoming election. To that end, New Day Austin wholeheartedly supports five challengers who will do so, and we endorse the audit mandated by Proposition I. NewDayAustin.com

This should enrage you. They are bankrupting the entire Amish community by fining every unvaccinated child 2000 USD per day. They want to kill your kids. And they will choose those who won't fight back, first. And soon, they will come for you.
New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY. ⠀ The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each. ⠀ Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance. ⠀ Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23. ⠀ Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10. ⠀ Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine. ⠀ Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill. ⠀ Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money. ⠀ They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County. ⠀ Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force. ⠀ A parent may not excuse a child for faith. ⠀ Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage. ⠀ Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state. ⠀ The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026. ⠀ A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28. Make sure EVERYONE sees this. If WE don't stand up for these incredible men and women - WHO WILL?!?!?! ⠀ Where is the “my body my choice crowd now”?

APD's Chief of Strategic Initiatives, Maris Herold, is married to Dr. Tamara Herold. Tamara has been paid $256,750 in no-bid APD consulting contracts. APD's main crime strategy is a method Tamara and Maris co-developed in Cincinnati. The idea is that police focus on a small hot spot where shootings keep happening, then they go after the nearby places that keep the violence going, like stash houses and shady hangouts. It's a reasonable strategy, though the evidence that this particular version of the hot spot strategy works is still a bit thin. What’s odd is who checks whether it's working in Austin. Robin Engel, a longtime Cincinnati buddy of Maris's. She's been paid $241,750 in part to run "independent evaluations" of APD's crime strategies. Engel and Tamara co-wrote an earlier evaluation of this same method. So the person grading the strategy co-wrote a study of it with the person who created it. Not sure how that can be “independent”? Anyway, City Council approved the Herold and Engel deals retroactively 11-0, apparently without discussion.
APD Chief Lisa Davis came to Austin from Cincinnati. Her department then created a new role in Austin, "Chief of Strategic Initiatives," and gave it to Maris Herold, another longtime Cincinnati cop. Maris's SPOUSE, Tamara Herold, has been paid $256,750 in no-bid APD consulting contracts for some reason. Also: Robin Engel, a Cincinnati colleague of both Davis and Maris, has been paid $241,750 for the same kind of deal. Odd.

Things you learn in Texas: 1. The guy in the F-150 is worth a lot more than the dude in a Mercedes. 2. The small business owner from a state school is smarter than the majority of Ivy League grads. 3. There’s more racism in Connecticut country clubs than in rural honky-tonks. 4. Rednecks are more honorable than investment bankers. 5. The man who looks like he can’t afford the tab could buy the building. 6. They don’t ask for a deck before the meeting. 7. Prep school is where they send the problem kids. 8. If he’s wearing dusty boots, a 2XL Magellan shirt, a gold Rolex, and has a bulletproof case on his iPhone 12, you’ve already lost the negotiation. 9. “How’s business?” is a real question. “What do you do?” is a New York question. 10. Tips are bigger and egos are smaller. 11. A handshake still closes deals that a term sheet would kill. 12. The wealth is in real estate, oil, or a company nobody in Manhattan has ever heard of. 13. Your wife or daughter will never struggle finding help to change a tire. 14. Nobody asks where you went to college. 15. A weekend invitation to their ranch makes you part of the family.

If you listen to city council they say they love audits they just think prop I is ‘redundant’ But its clear the base and the activists are actually anti audit and don’t believe there is government waste That’s why its very important to approve prop I and lock the audit in
A plethora of low IQ influencers are posting en masse against prop i — “don’t DOGE our Austin.” Since when is transparency into government spending a bad thing? Or partisan?

🤬🤬😤My wife takes her 2023 RAV4 to the dealership for a recall service. This was for an airflow sensor After finishing they come out and tell her that her horn isn’t functioning and that it would be $145 to diagnose the issue + labor and parts to repair Mind you she knows for a fact that the horn worked this morning The techs specifically said “we checked all the connections and so it’s not that” I told her to decline and bring it home Mind you this is so unlikely to be anything other than a fuse or the fact that they unplugged it and forgot to plug it back in or worse, straight up scamming After testing the fuse and the relay, as well as the clock spring, I take the radiator cover off to inspect the plugs at the horn and what do you know both horns are unplugged The airflow sensor is nowhere near these plugs so there’s zero chance these were taken off as part of the job not to mention they said they “checked the plugs” It’s also impossible they both happen to vibrate loose @Toyota I buy a brand new car from you and this is how you treat us?? Austin’s course correction just launched! New Day Austin is a big-tent coalition done funding City Hall first and households second. Voters already killed a 20% tax hike. A March audit found $279M in consultant spending in two years, often with no needs check or performance review. New Day is backing: • D1 Steven Brown @StevenforAustin • D5 David Weinberg @dmweinberg1 • D8 @Bowen4Austin • D9 @katiekam4austin And YES on Prop I: an independent efficiency audit before any tax hike, locked in the charter so Council can’t repeal it. Audit first. Then ask for more. newdayaustin.com

ICE: Removes over 1,000 criminals from Austin, many of whom are repeat offenders released by city prosecutors and judges Austin city officials: ICE is a "direct public safety risk" and ICE must "cease operations"
Austin ICE arrests are up 300% in the last couple of years. Two Austin city commissions are now urging City Council to formally ask ICE to "cease operations in Austin." Their recommendation calls ICE's presence a "direct public safety risk." Since January of last year, ICE has arrested 1,368 people in Austin who were here illegally AND had a criminal conviction or a pending criminal charge. In a county where the DA drops charges and repeat offenders walk out on bond, ICE is sometimes the only consequence they ever face If the commissions got their way, 1,368 rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and thieves would still be on the street.
