Why this picture is very cool and why it’s important to women’s golf: (long one) Women pros find it hard it to find money to keep their careers going. It’s hard for them to find a place to play, or people or companies to sponsor them. So female pros don’t have time to develop and often quit after missing at Q-school or don’t have immediate success. This hurts the depth of the women’s game. And why this picture is so cool. These 5 women are part of a program between @ANNIKA_Fdn and @Old_Barnwell Each year they select 4 women pros. They support the women for 3 years. They are given free housing, money to play events, and can practice at Old Barnwell. Along with access to Annika for mentorship. There are currently 14 pros in the program and today at the final stage of @LETgolf Q-school five of them earned their cards. A few of them turned pro more one year ago. They worked on their games, developed, got better, and now have a place to play. This is an opportunity not given to enough women and hope their success helps other courses/foundations/companies do the same. Awesome on Annika’s foundation and OB.

It was an incredible day @Old_Barnwell for @GamecockMGolf. Golf in the Palmetto State is sooo good and it just got better! Thanks also to legend @Matt_KneeSmith for joining us #blessed #golfcocks

Incredible time @Old_Barnwell for opening weekend. Big thanks to Kitty Nicastro and Morgan Purvis for having us out! Congratulations @bschneider126 , Blake Conant and all involved on the design team.🦉#oldbarnwell

On the eve of its debut, a HUGE thanks to @bcwatso3 @JohnLavelle2015 @Steve1968 @TurfManTrav and the rest of the fantastic crew at Old Barnwell!

The anticipation continues to grow for @Old_Barnwell preview play opening in 8 more days. @bschneider126 and @Dundee_Golf have created a course that is going to be A LOT of fun to play. (Photo Credit: @PurvisMorgan)

Dropped in @Old_Barnwell yesterday, nice to see @bschneider126 and @Dundee_Golf get a new project. They are bringing above ground funky features that will be unique in the area. This Aiken area club will have the 7 grassed holes open this winter and finish the remaining in ‘23

A few more shots of @Old_Barnwell courtesy of @PurvisMorgan. In order: no. 1 prepped for sod, no. 2 green, looking towards no. 5 from no. 3, no. 17.

Working with Nick on @Old_Barnwell has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The other guys aren’t so bad either @JohnLavelle2015 @bschneider126 @Dundee_Golf Excited for what’s to come on the course and for my hometown of Aiken!

Another cool story. Aiken golfer is taking year off to play Alister MacKenzie courses. postandcourier.com/aikenstan…

HAMBONE #USA !!!

It's kinda weird how Kevin Kisner hasn't even won yet and he'd still be on my top-10 of players to hit a shot for you on the 18th on Sunday.
