What if humanity is an ant walking across a calculus paper? Top AI leaders are predicting ASI could arrive in the early 2030s. Then consider this analogy: An ant can walk across a page of calculus without understanding what any of it means. What if humanity is the ant? We may be navigating a universe governed by deeper mathematics and physics that we don't yet understand. And what if ASI can understand the paper? What becomes possible then?

Why did hospital stocks fall sharply today? It is due to regulatory uncertainty. The Supreme Court questioned steep mark-ups on medicines, citing a cancer drug bought for ₹2,700 but carrying an MRP of ₹27,000. The court also questioned mandatory purchases from in-house hospital pharmacies and asked the Centre to examine whether a 16% margin could apply more broadly. Several hospital stocks fell 5–7% intraday. The key risk now is whether this develops into a broader concern around hospital margins. Will tomorrow bring a relief bounce or more selling across the sector?
Hospital names are weak across the board today. MAXHEALTH -6.2% APOLLOHOSP -6.1% FORTIS -5.9% YATHARTH -5.3% NH is the least weak at -1.0%. Sector wide shakeout, or just a one day hit?
