This is so unfortunate for those impacted :( This explains a persistent "bug" that frustrated me when building float.sundae.fi though. I happened to be building the real-time updates features at the time, and several charts showed sudden sharp red candles.

I searched twitter and asked a few people in private to see if anyone was talking about a big hack, and when I saw nothing, started scratching my head about whether there was a bug in my code, and ultimately just concluded there was an unusual spike in selling.
