the way i upgraded to a more expensive @TMobile plan a couple of years ago SPECIFICALLY because it allowed you to trade in for the new iphone every year and then today i go to the store to get the new iphone and they’re like “oh yeah that plan doesn’t exist anymore so you can’t trade in your phone” meanwhile i am still actively PAYING EVERY MONTH FOR THAT PLAN THAT SUPPOSEDLY DOES NOT EXISTAND IT’S MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE PLANS THAT DO EXIST please make this make sense @TMobileHelp

Relationship gaps that matter way more than people admit: - gym gap (5x a week vs. never) - drinking gap (weekend drinker vs. basically sober) - going out gap (always wants plans vs. loves staying in) - travel gap (always planning a trip vs. 1-2 a year is plenty) - money gap (spender vs. saver) - living gap (city forever vs. suburbs ASAP) - ambition gap (career obsessed vs. work is just work) - texting gap (talk all day vs. “sorry just seeing this”) - social gap (huge friend group vs. 2 close friends) - sleep schedule gap HUGE one (10pm bedtime vs. 2am) - fitness/food gap (tracks everything vs. orders whatever)

I’m not cancelling Kai because he didn’t want 2 whores to have his kids. He asked them to get abortions and they both got them… CASE CLOSED!
Another woman named Zai hopped on live, alleging that she dealt with Kai Cenat and that he paid her to terminate a pregnancy just six months ago. She says she’s traumatized and still depressed over it, and is unsure if her relationship with Kai overlapped with his ex, Gigi.

I think ppl get offended when you aren't ashamed of things that they were taught to be ashamed of. They resent you for not caring what everybody thinks

My wife had an allergic reaction to pet dander at an @Airbnb, and we had to leave the 4 day booking less than an hour after entering the home. We immediately contacted the host & support. Her eyes were bloodshot and she had hives. Now they are refusing to refund us. Awful service

“Anyone can tell us they had an allergic reaction and request a refund. And if we grant everyone who claims this, then that’s a loss on our end” - Rhonda, your friendly neighborhood @Airbnb customer service rep.

Kumon and other successful after-school tutoring organizations always use traditional drill and practice to catch kids up in math. I once attended a lecture by a well-known math ed guru, who was selling the "new way" to teach math. My colleague asked her: "Why do you think places like Kumon always use traditional teaching - like math drills and worksheets? If your approach is so much better, why don't they use your approach?" She replied: "It's nostalgia. It makes parents feel good to see things being taught the way they were taught." The real reason is that Kumon is a paid service. They will lose business if they do not deliver a product that works. Public schools do not face such consequences. They can just keep doing whatever they want, listening to the gurus, and buying their products. And parents have to keep sending their kids. This is the sad tragedy of public education. @mattyglesias

People have heard about the phonics vs triple-queuing fiasco but there is a similar issue in math where ed school ideologues have stigmatized the normal and necessary work of drilling novice students in the fundamentals. slowboring.com/p/math-needs-…

The real issue is everybody so broke, you have no concept of how much money a billion dollars is lol. The idea of having it makes you hypothetically frugal cus you would never want to lose it. You could spend 50k every single day for 27 years & still have 500 mil

You wanna know why? Cuz the nerd that created this map found more than 300,000 surveillance devices. Flock only publicly reported 120,000
Flock Safety has issued a legal demand seeking the removal of a public map showing the locations of approximately 300,000 of its surveillance devices across the United States.
