If you are a Halo fan, this is the best news in a decade plus. 💪
Rob Kostich, Dave Stohl, Pat Kelly and team at Activision are rock star, old school game developers. Non-political, no bullshit - just flat out Halo at its best. They are not afraid to take risks and deliver a Halo experience that blows people away and sets the stage for the next 10+ years.
This is the best decision to reset Halo and get a new, hungry team in place to make Halo the incredible asset it is. I can't wait to see them lead their teams and bring Halo back in full force.
Props to Xbox for making this decision. LFG! 🥳
Update on Xbox's "Reset":
▪️268 roles are being eliminated across Halo Studios, Xbox Game Studios management and other first party teams
▪️Rare and World's Edge will be under Activision
▪️Activision will develop the next Halo title
▪️Halo Studios will continue with a small team 'supporting the Halo community and games in-market'
▪️Obsidian will now be under Bethesda
▪️Turn 10 will merge with Playground Games as one studio, focusing on Forza and Fable

I lived in Newport Beach, California for years. Sure, California is crowded, expensive, etc. But something about that area is magic - perfect weather every single day, great sports cities, generally people happy and supportive of each other.
If you have a chance to visit - I highly recommend.
