Exciting news today! I’m thrilled to share that I’m joining the @FIDOAlliance as Chief Marketing Officer.
I’ve been fortunate to spend a large part of my career in authentication and identity, working with many of the people and organizations that have helped transform this industry. I remember when the idea of moving beyond passwords felt like a punchline, but today, passkeys have reached mainstream adoption and are being used by billions of people around the world. This progress has been made possible by an entire ecosystem coming together on a joint mission. It’s pretty remarkable.
What makes this opportunity so exciting is how we continue to grow from here. FIDO is entering a new phase, with digital credentials and agentic authentication opening up new chapters for how people, organizations and technology can prove trust online. Once again, these are challenges and opportunities that no single organization can tackle alone.
I’m grateful for all of those I’ve worked with and learned from over the years and am excited to now work alongside the awesome FIDO team and its members around the world. It feels pretty special to officially be part of the organization. 🎉

One thing I (and probably a whole lot of other people) have been thinking about lately is how quickly AI is changing the value of trust online. We’re moving into a world where proving what’s real, and who’s real, is quickly becoming one of the most important things on the internet. Ironically, as AI and associated technologies get smarter, trust becomes more human and much less artificial.
