Your public demo/beta shouldn’t be the first time hundreds or thousands of players give you real feedback.
We’ve been doing a lot more closed playtesting lately, and working with the @firstlookgg team has been fantastic.
With @RefractiveENT, (Luminary), we got 215 players into the game and 86 of them completed a 30-question survey while playing. For a two-person dev team, that’s a pretty darn useful amount of feedback before going wider.
More importantly, the dev team got organized feedback from gamers who filled out a 30-question survery while they were playing and enjoying Luminary. That’s the stuff that helps you make decisions before a public demo or launch.
Next up: #MonsterFantasy. @Jotoyogamesdev
Wave 1 runs August 28–30, one week from today, with recruitment opening Monday through us, @playtesterhq and @playerdotgg. This one is focused on playing the game and giving feedback.
There will be separate opportunities for creators and media next month!
Devs, if you’re getting ready for a demo, launch, or bigger public push, think about doing a closed playtest with us first.
We can run the whole thing for you: recruit the gamers, onboard them, get them playing, support the test, collect the feedback, and package it up so your dev team knows what people are actually saying.

اللعبة تحتوي على 4 فئات قتالية: المحارب، الساحر، الرامي والمقاتل. والجميل ان شخصيتك تقدر تتعلم مهارات جميع هذي الفئات، والتبديل بينها سهل جدا

I got to try Monster Fantasy's pre-alpha preview, and it looks really promising! Here's gameplay I recorded and edited, showing its spell-based combat.
You can combine elements to create spells like the one at the end. More gameplay every 15 minutes, so stay tuned :P

I played Monster Fantasy, a game inspired by Monster Hunter. It has mechanics and world details similar to MH but since the focus is not on high end character graphics, it allows the devs to do much more! Details:
🔹Sep 22 - public Steam Playtest officially begins
🔹Solo and online co-op (up to 4 players)
🔹Explore the Kingdom of Eldoras to hunt around 50 giant monsters.
🔹Choose from four classes: Warrior, Mage, Archer, and Martial Artist
🔹Build a home, farm, fish, cook, gather, and interact with around 100 villagers between hunts.
🔹Defeat, tame, evolve, and ride monsters as mounts or fight alongside them as pets.
