He says he looked at the case and made the call. The jury found the former nurse not guilty by reason of insanity while several jurors claimed he refused to follow instructions on reasonable results. Other concerns include his criminal record and alleged domestic violence. THE JURY ROOM IS A MESS. A mother killed her own children and walked out under an insanity finding while jurors fight over whether one holdout followed the law. That is not closure for the dead kids. This Weather event affected many families that were already struggling to get by and many lost everything they worked for their whole lives. If you know anyone impacted by last week’s flooding urge them to call 211 or go to the Indiana DHS website to report damage. There’s emergency relief grants up to $5K from the Indiana State Disaster Relief Fund. That’s just the beginning to pick up the pieces of a life washed away by flood waters.
