Damn just seeing this clip now. Expert work here by @dalejr Notice how he works nemechek up the track into 3 with a run so that when the high line gets back to him he can bail low on him & reconnect with that line & leave nemechek hung out & take the lead
Eagles suck so I've put on the 2010 Fall Talladega race just to feel something

There’s a good argument to be made that Denny even sniffs the Championship last yr BECAUSE of the format & what happened at Vegas (Hendrick attrition & lucky late caution) & getting 2 weeks to prepare for Phoenix The 11 simply made the wrong pit call
IMO, Denny deserved last year more than he does this year. He actually played by the rules in place (whether you liked them or not) better than anyone last year, he just got boned. This year he’s had all kinds of chances and hasn’t capitalized.

It’s doesn’t have to be the worst thing. The championship was already wrapped up & the focus went back solely to whoever was going to be able to win the 2003 Ford 400, and we were rewarded with an iconic finish
If Larson wins the championship this Sunday whats the point on watching the Homestead race😭

I wash happy for Bobby, but felt bad for Bill

It’s somewhat frustrating watching super speedway finishes anymore. Just about every car up front refusing to work together & methodically ruining their own chance to get to the lead. So unrestrained to the point it’s futile

I’d argue Denny has had ‘some’ of the most luck in the Chase, considering. He’s clearly been 2nd to 3rd fastest JGR car since, 0 wins in the Chase & still 2nd in points. Why is no one talking about this?
After @KyleLarson wins at @TALLADEGA - @DennyHamlin pulls to second in Chase standings - 73 points behind Larson with two races to go. Hamlin, post race on Larson: "Yeah, truthfully, they've done a lot of things right. A lot of things have gone right. We've not done that. We've got a big old gap. I think as long as he can keep his four tires on it the next two weeks, he'll be champion again.

Some interesting engagement bait this weekend from the class of folks who by and large think the internet is a bunch of conspiracy theorists

I was watching the race with about 12 other people at a party, almost all of them were casuals - none of them even realized Chastain wasn’t on the lead lap. Lmao
when you wonder why ratings are the way they are

RE: Austin Hill If Chevy brass was quick enough to tell Austin to bail in order to give Larson a spot, wouldn’t have they have also realized it would give Denny a point as well, so a net wash?
Terrible time for Austin Hill to lose power.

Nearly a max points day for Larson at Talladega of all places. I don’t think anyone saw that coming

Denny Hamlin needs to average 37 points above Larson the next 2 weeks in order to win the championship. Also, what is the tie breaker in this situation? Is it based on Chase wins/finishes or the entire season?

Very eery to see another Monster Energy car take head on hit to the inside barrier at a restrictor plate track. Hope Riley is ok

Buescher, Preece, and Keselowski deserve a commendation after this race is done.
I have no inside info on this, but I can only imagine that right now NASCAR is incredibly pissed about this. This is not what NASCAR is looking for at all here. Steve O'Donnell probably wants to throw his phone.
