One Day on Earth began as an artistic interpretation of a single day of news. At first, I played with different artistic eras and styles. As the series evolved, I began interpreting each day through the visual language of individual artists, from Van Gogh and Dalí to Hokusai, Turner, Rockwell, Michelangelo and many others. Then I wanted the art to come alive. Not long ago, what you’re watching would have taken me weeks using Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Audition. AI allowed me to take what was in my head and bring it to life in a fraction of that time. The creativity is still human. The vision is still human. The choices are still human. AI simply expanded what I could do with them. Thank you to Grok, Elon Musk, xAI, ChatGPT, OpenAI and Sam Altman, and especially to the thousands of brilliant minds behind these technologies who made all of this possible. You didn’t replace my creativity. You gave it wings.

Today on Earth, President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded Xi’s three-day state visit with tea at the White House and a National Archives tour, where they viewed the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The two countries extended their trade truce for two months while disputes over trade, artificial intelligence, Taiwan and China’s ties to Iran remained unresolved. Trump warned Xi against Chinese support for Iran, while the U.S. ambassador to China said Beijing assured it would provide no such support. China denies U.S. allegations that it is helping Iran in the conflict. After three days, a state dinner, military flyovers and the Constitution, they agreed to keep talking. The United States proposed that the United Arab Emirates host a trilateral meeting with Ukraine and Russia aimed at ending their four-and-a-half-year war. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said talks would begin at a technical level and Ukraine was waiting for Washington to propose a date. The Kremlin said a three-way meeting could happen soon. The proposal came as Russia intensified its attacks on Ukraine. Russian strikes killed seven people in Kyiv, including a 14-year-old boy, and injured dozens. Ukraine’s largest steel plant also announced it was shutting down after four strikes in five weeks caused extensive damage and killed five workers. In Nigeria, fresh violence continued in Plateau State. Three local vigilantes were killed overnight in Gassa, Barkin Ladi, amid a week of attacks. Earlier violence included the killing of a pastor and other civilians, and a dusk-to-dawn curfew remains in effect across Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu. U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna also drew attention to reports of attacks against Christian communities in Plateau State and called for the violence to stop. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, health officials warned the Ebola outbreak remained far from contained. Africa CDC said authorities identified about 30,000 people who may have been exposed, compared with more than 400,000 contacts they would expect to be tracing. More than 80 percent of new confirmed cases were being found among people who were not already being monitored. The outbreak has spread to 63 health zones across seven provinces and is now the second-largest Ebola outbreak on record. Off Somalia, Puntland maritime police freed the oil tanker Sibu 1 after it had been held by Somali pirates since August. Authorities said the pirates were taken into custody. The tanker is under U.S. sanctions for allegedly belonging to a shadow fleet used to evade restrictions on Iranian petroleum exports. It was at least the 13th vessel attacked this year off Somalia or in the Gulf of Aden. Across the Pacific, Hawaii prepared for potentially catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Nolo, which strengthened south of the islands with sustained winds reaching 105 miles per hour. Forecasters warned that eastern and southern portions of the Big Island could receive 10 to 15 inches of rain, with isolated totals reaching 25 inches. Farther east, Hurricane Polo remained an extremely powerful Category 5 storm off Mexico, with sustained winds reaching 180 miles per hour. In Chile, customs authorities announced that they had seized 222 ammonite fossils concealed inside a shipping container declared as carrying household ornaments. The fossils came from Madagascar, are approximately 110 million years old and belonged to extinct marine animals related to modern octopuses and squid. Museum specialists confirmed that they were genuine. Chile is waiting to learn whether Madagascar will request their return. And on this day in 1890, Sequoia National Park was established in California, becoming America’s second-oldest national park. I believe we are being invaded by an Islamist political ideology that has made no secret of wanting Sharia law in the West. When Netanyahu spoke at the United Nations in September 2025, Israeli officials counted 77 delegations as either absent or having walked out. Look at the list and you will find Muslim-majority states, authoritarian governments and governments of the left all standing together in that moment. For months I have watched video after video of radical imams and Islamist activists openly talking about Sharia, calling for the destruction of Israel and telling us exactly what they want for the West, and at what point do we stop dismissing what is being said directly to our faces and take them at their word? I have family in Spain. I know what they are telling me, and I am watching what is happening in England and France with mass immigration, failed assimilation and radical Islam while anyone questioning any of it is immediately dismissed as Islamophobic. Call me Islamophobic all you want, I could give a flying rat’s ass what you call me. The word means absolutely nothing when it is used to shut down an argument instead of answering it. Once you begin advocating Sharia as the law governing everyone else, we are no longer talking simply about religion; we are talking about government, law and political power, and our laws need to recognize that. If an organization claims religious protection while working to replace constitutional law with religious law, treat its political activity as political activity. Close the loopholes, enforce the laws we have and change whatever can constitutionally be changed to protect this Republic. I have no patience for people who scream about women’s rights, gay rights, free speech and religious freedom while ignoring what happens in many Muslim-majority countries, where apostasy or blasphemy can be criminalized, homosexuality is illegal, religious minorities face serious restrictions or persecution, women face unequal treatment under particular laws and legal systems, and child marriage remains possible in some jurisdictions. Current USCIRF findings continue to document severe religious-freedom violations across numerous Muslim-majority states, while current global data show consensual same-sex relations remain criminalized in dozens of countries. You cannot defend those freedoms here and make excuses when they are denied somewhere else. Either they are human rights or they aren’t. If a movement seeks political power to replace constitutional law with religious law, treat it as political. If our laws aren’t strong enough, change them; if loopholes exist, close them; if new laws are needed, pass them. Do whatever needs to be done within our Constitution to protect our Constitutional Republic.

CHRISTIANS ARE BEING PERSECUTED. WHY IS THE WORLD SO QUIET? Nigeria is where I want to start, because what is happening there right now is horrific and somehow still barely penetrates the global conversation. Christians are being murdered, kidnapped, driven from their homes and attacked in their churches, while entire communities live knowing the next village, the next church or the next family could be theirs. According to the 2026 World Watch List, 3,490 Nigerian Christians were killed for faith related reasons during its latest reporting period. Across sub Saharan Africa, 4,491 of the 4,849 Christians recorded as killed for their faith were killed there, 93 percent of the global total. In June 2025, attackers descended on Yelwata in Benue State, where displaced families were sheltering at a Catholic mission. At least 100 men, women and children were killed, while other sources placed the number even higher. People were shot, homes were burned and families who had already fled violence found it waiting for them again. The violence continues. Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province remain active, while Christian villages, churches and clergy continue to be targeted. Then there is North Korea, where Christians worship underground, hide Bibles and risk imprisonment, forced labor, torture or execution if discovered. Open Doors has ranked North Korea number one on its World Watch List for the twenty fourth time. In Eritrea, Christians are imprisoned for worshipping outside government approved churches. In 2025, authorities detained 44 Christians, including 27 teenagers, during a private worship service, while others have spent years behind bars. In Iran, Christian converts continue to be arrested and imprisoned for their faith. In February 2026, Christian convert and journalist Mary Mohammadi was detained and later transferred to an undisclosed location. In Pakistan, Christians live under blasphemy laws that can carry the death penalty, while accusations can lead to imprisonment, mob violence and threats against entire communities. In China, pastors and church leaders have been detained, house churches targeted and Christians pressured to submit to state controlled religious institutions. Now look at the numbers worldwide. Open Doors estimates that more than 388 million Christians face high levels of persecution and discrimination because of their faith, roughly one in seven Christians on Earth. During its latest reporting period, 4,849 Christians were killed for their faith, and more than 224,000 were forced from their homes, driven into hiding or forced to flee their countries. Pew Research Center found that Christians experienced government or social harassment in 165 of the 198 countries and territories studied in 2023, more countries than any other religious group measured. We talk endlessly about human rights, tolerance and protecting minorities, yet Christians are being killed in Nigeria, imprisoned in Eritrea, forced underground in North Korea, arrested in Iran, threatened under blasphemy laws in Pakistan and detained in China. And somehow, that barely makes the conversation.

Arrogance. Misplaced trust. Humbling. Remnant. Restoration. That is the pattern. I read Isaiah 10 today, and what struck me was not simply what happened to Assyria more than 2,700 years ago, but how clearly Isaiah describes a pattern humanity has repeated ever since. Power grows and arrogance follows. We begin trusting rulers, governments, armies, wealth and institutions more than God. What appears invincible proves temporary. The powerful are humbled, a remnant remains, and from what appears lost, God restores. Isaiah captures the arrogance: “Does the ax raise itself above the person who swings it?” Isaiah 10:15 Then the humbling: “The lofty trees will be felled, the tall ones will be brought low.” Isaiah 10:33 Then the remnant: “The remnant of Israel… will no longer rely on him who struck them down, but will truly rely on the LORD.” Isaiah 10:20 Isaiah 10 ends with the forest being cut down. Isaiah 11 begins with restoration: “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” Isaiah 11:1 More than 2,700 years later, the names have changed. The pattern hasn’t.

Islam is at the top of the communist totem pole. They are the chosen ones to finally destroy western civilization. But the communists have a problem. Islam is a barbaric, savage, violent, misogynistic death cult, and people are beginning to see and understand. So, as all Marxists do, they lie and create propaganda. The “Christian Nationals” threat is just that. CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM ≠ JIHADIST ISLAMISM I keep hearing this comparison lately, that Christian nationalism is somehow the Christian version of Islamist extremism, that the ambition is the same, the threat is the same, the danger is the same. Really? Because I recently researched and wrote about this exact subject, so as it happens, I have the numbers, and once you actually put those numbers next to this comparison, the entire argument becomes almost laughable, except there is absolutely nothing funny about the number of people who have been slaughtered. Between 1979 and April 2024, researchers documented 66,872 Islamist terrorist attacks worldwide that killed at least 249,941 people, and 204,937 of those deaths occurred between 2013 and April 2024 alone. The Taliban, Islamic State, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab and al-Qaeda accounted for 81.8% of the victims in that study, and 88.9% of the deaths occurred in Muslim majority countries. Think about that for a second. The overwhelming majority of the people being murdered by these movements were living in Muslim countries themselves. And this is not some historical problem we can conveniently file away with September 11 and move on from. In 2025 alone, there were 2,944 terrorist attacks worldwide and 5,582 deaths. The four deadliest terrorist organizations were Islamic State, JNIM, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and al-Shabaab, and together those four organizations were responsible for 3,869 deaths, 70% of all terrorism fatalities worldwide that year. Four jihadist organizations accounted for seventy percent of the world’s terrorism deaths. Then look at Europe. Europol recorded 58 terrorist attacks in the European Union in 2024, 24 were jihadist and one was right wing. Jihadist terrorism was also the most lethal category, and 289 of the 449 people arrested for terrorism related offenses were arrested in connection with jihadist terrorism. These are not opinions, political talking points or somebody’s interpretation of what constitutes a threat. These are numbers. So when I hear people casually tell me that Christian nationalism and jihadist Islamism are essentially the same thing, this is where I have a problem. If you want to make that comparison, then make it with actual comparable data. Do not take every white supremacist, neo Nazi, militia extremist, anti government extremist and violent right wing actor you can find, throw them all into one enormous bucket, stamp “CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST” across the front and then pretend you have established an equivalence. That is not how data works. Show me the Christian nationalist terrorist organizations. Show me the documented attacks. Show me the fatalities. Show me the timeframe. Because on the other side of this comparison, we have 66,872 documented Islamist terrorist attacks and at least 249,941 dead between 1979 and April 2024. If Christian nationalism is genuinely the equivalent threat people keep telling me it is, then the comparable numbers should not be difficult to produce. Bring them. Pastor, save the sermon. Jesus never said, “You are illegal and you are not allowed into my kingdom.” You did. You took Matthew 25, put your own politics into the mouth of Christ, and then had the arrogance to tell another human being what God is going to say to them on Judgment Day. That is not preaching Scripture. That is rewriting it. Yes, Jesus commanded us to feed the hungry, care for the poor and welcome the stranger. I believe every word of it. But Matthew 25 is a command to Christians to show mercy. It is not an immigration statute, and it does not say that compassion requires a country to abandon its laws or ignore the people it is responsible for protecting. Acts 17:26 acknowledges peoples and the “boundaries of their regions.” Romans 13 recognizes civil authority and its responsibility to deal with wrongdoing. And Jesus himself said, “Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.” Scripture recognizes both mercy and civil authority. And since you want to lecture everyone about compassion, where is yours for Americans who can barely afford groceries, rent and healthcare? Where is it for legal immigrants who respected the process? Where is it for families who have lost someone to a person who had no lawful right to be here? Where is your compassion for them? Do they suddenly stop mattering because acknowledging them interferes with your political sermon? Matthew 25 actually says, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” It does not contain your invented little speech about Jesus calling somebody “illegal.” You do not get to add words to Christ, condemn people with those words, and then accuse everyone else of having a hardened heart. So save the gaslighting, Pastor. Being behind a pulpit does not make your politics the Word of God, and calling someone “vile” while pretending to speak for Jesus does not make you morally superior. If you want to preach Scripture, preach Scripture. Don’t rewrite it and then use your rewrite to send people to hell.

Today on Earth, dozens of delegates walked out of the United Nations General Assembly as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his address. Netanyahu defended Israel’s war against Iran, rejected accusations that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and called the delegates who left the chamber “moral cowards.” Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas addressed the gathering by prerecorded video after the United States denied him a visa to attend in person. Meanwhile, U.S. and Iranian negotiators in New York discussed a phased agreement aimed at ending their nearly seven-month conflict. Sources close to the talks said the proposal could begin with Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz and the United States lifting its economic blockade, but both sides remained reluctant to give up their leverage first. New U.S. sanctions also took effect against companies in third countries doing business with Iran. Iranian airlines were barred from neighboring countries including the United Arab Emirates and Oman, suspending Iranian flights through some of the Middle East’s busiest aviation hubs. In Washington, President Trump hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House during Xi’s three-day state visit to the United States. In Ethiopia, flights to the historic town of Lalibela were suspended as fighting intensified nearby. Tigrayan forces seized airports and launched attacks in the Afar and Amhara regions as fears grew of a return to full-scale war. Residents in Tigray began stocking up on food and withdrawing cash while international officials called for restraint. The FDA approved Eli Lilly’s Onswik, a once-weekly basal insulin injection for adults with type 2 diabetes. The treatment offers an alternative to daily long-acting insulin and could eliminate hundreds of injections a year for some patients. In the Pacific, Hurricane Polo battered Mexico’s western coast with heavy rain and dangerous surf while Nolo approached Hawaii with the threat of potentially catastrophic rainfall. I’ve watched people walk out of the UN all week and I keep thinking the same thing: then what the hell is the point of the United Nations? You don’t have to agree. You don’t have to like what’s being said. But if countries can’t even sit in the same damn room and listen to each other, what exactly are we paying for? I’m tired of watching our tax dollars disappear into institutions that seem increasingly incapable of doing the very thing they were created to do. Wars everywhere. Countries refusing to listen to each other. Delegates walking out when they don’t like the speaker. And we call this the UNITED Nations? At some point you stop fixing something that clearly isn’t working. Dismantle it. Keep whatever actually serves a purpose and build something better. This is embarrassing, and I’m sharing it because this kind of thinking deserves to be seen. There is a difference between criticizing Israel, which anyone has every right to do, and casually sliding into “Zionists/Jews,” the “Rothschild breed” and Jews secretly controlling governments as though you’ve uncovered some brilliant geopolitical truth. You haven’t. What’s disturbing isn’t just that people believe this garbage. It’s how confidently they repeat it, dress it up as history and somehow convince themselves they’re the enlightened ones in the room. We should be able to disagree about Israel, Gaza, Netanyahu, the UN and American foreign policy without resurrecting centuries old conspiracy theories about Jews controlling the world.
