BYU getting the nod over Tech is all about margins. Tech’s 3 opponents are all better than BYU’s (ACU>Utah Tech, Oregon State>CSU, Houston>Arizona) and Tech has a ranked win on top of it.

You guys didn’t exactly look great against OrSt., which is what I think factored against you. Along with not beating the doors off ACU the way they’d expect. Not justifying it one way or the other… just explaining what the voters are probably thinking.
