A friend was asking about Rings of Power, and if it was really *that* good, and I told him, as someone who has read nearly all of the books on Middle-Earth and enjoys Jackson's adaptation, that every episode felt like I'd spent an hour in Middle-Earth. Sure, there's liberties with the lore, but Tolkien's themes are front and center, and it fits so well that it's become my head canon. Especially Galadriel and Sauron. This show changed how I saw those characters, and in a good way.

I just know seeing Elrond and Elros together is gonna break me #theringsofpower
