🚨🚨BLI has broken a daily precip record for Sept. 25! The old record was 1" from 2024, but today the airport has recorded 1.1" and counting! We also have reached the September avg. for precip. How fast it can change!!!

9-25-26: The summit of Mt. Baker could see between 12-18" of new snow from this current storm. I won't be climbing to find out if it is true or not, but either way it should look very good the next time we get a good view of it!

We're working with utility crews to cleanup downed wires on I-5 between Tumwater and Maytown. The road is closed. Traffic is diverted around the closure on SR 121. Avoid the area. If you're traveling, expect delays along the detour until work is complete.

We received a rough ETA of up to 1.5 hours until the wire can be safely secured to reopen the roadway.
We’re continuing to get more calls about trees falling onto I-5 in the area. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
