I made the cardinal mistake of not taking the pictures, man. Today kinda hit me hard hearing some things, and I didn't make that mistake again. I was given the opportunity to attend the retirement of an outstanding Marine today. Our Sangin deployment, as I've learned over the years, was a particularly bad one. This Marine, not only headed a platoon and withstood the losses, has taken a piece of turmoil and made it a mission to make sure that the Marines after us, survive the hell combat throws at you. From when I knew him as a Sgt, to now retiring as a Warrant Officer in charge of combat training for young Marines, this man has given his all to make sure what happened there, doesn't ever happen again. Hell yea! We love VA doctors here. I love going months requesting a doctor when I got sick, dropped 30lbs, and this dude spent 15mins telling me how carbs are bad, and then ended the appointment. They wonder why we drop dead or say fuck it, The VA fucking sucks

Calling for the last 4 weeks trying to get an appointment at the VA. No return call, ask for new doctor, can't have that. Try calling VSOs, nope leave a message with no return call. Was just trying to get back into therapy. Whats the fucking point?
