🐟 —-> 🤡 ONE MONTH rebrand thoughts! I wanted to share my experience one month after I rebranded and returned from graduating as I’ve had a few vtubers ask me and say they’re been interested in rebranding. First off, I think most people are scared of rebranding because you’re established branding will be gone. And you’re right. A part of me feels like I’m completely starting over. You will lose some people, but not for the reasons you might be worried about! (I do want to acknowledge that I had not been actively streaming for over a year before my rebrand due to graduating etc. ) I think people are scared people won’t like their redesign and will like the old one better but I havent heard this ONCE. I think people do have this opinion most likely but I have been met with nothing but support since coming back and my old community loves the new model as much as the old because it’s ME! I worked on a new redesign I think represents me, is fun, and something I really love and enjoy. Those who watch you can tell when you’re happy and having fun, and with this new model I am. Having a good design will always help but at the end of the day people are supporting you for your personality and what you bring to the table as a content creator. Present however you want! I’ve said I have no problem bringing up my old design, which might be taboo, but I love her! She’s me! I’m her! I take so much pride in the things I was able to accomplish as her and I am still REI no matter what model im using. My community has understood this and has met me with only love and support since i rebranded. Overall, some parts of rebranding have been isolating because i feel like a lot of people don’t recognize or know me anymore but im trying to turn that feeling into something positive and motivating. They don’t KNOW me, im going to show them who i am! I am so fun and silly and i work hard to be nice and inviting. I’m very lucky to still have my old community and I’ve found a lot of NEW community that im so happy and grateful for. I will keep on working hard and doing my best (it’s been hard to jump back into streaming)! Thank you to everyone who supported my rebrand and has reached out this last month. Onto the next! 🤡❤️🎪
