The H-1B visa program was originally intended to bring in foreign workers only when Americans aren’t available. Instead, corporations have exploited it to replace American workers with cheaper foreign labor. I’m urging the Department of Labor to raise the wage floors that make this abuse profitable. It was a privilege to speak at the Idaho Association of Counties annual conference in Boise about the partnerships my office has with county officials across the state, from sheriffs and county prosecutors to commissioners, clerks, and others. We work together on all sorts of issues to keep Idaho communities safe and strong. It was also great to catch up with friends from around the state. Grateful for their service and proud to keep working alongside them.

I'm co-leading a coalition of states with @AGJamesUthmeier, asking the Supreme Court to reverse a Ninth Circuit ruling that says parents can't even challenge a Washington state law letting runaway children receive irreversible gender transition procedures without their parents' knowledge. Idaho families living just miles from the Washington state line are directly exposed. A child who crosses that border can be put on this path while parents are kept in the dark. The Ninth Circuit's ruling also binds federal courts in Idaho and every other state in the circuit. If it stands, parents across the West lose their day in court.

An Idaho Falls Medicaid provider billed for hours she spent delivering Amazon packages and running personal errands instead of caring for a disabled woman. My Medicaid Fraud Control Unit investigated, prosecuted, and secured her felony conviction. We will keep going after any provider who defrauds taxpayers.

Day two of my north Idaho trip took me from one end of Idaho's timber cycle to the other. In Moscow, I visited the University of Idaho nursery, where seedlings are grown to replant Idaho's forests. In Lewiston, I toured the Idaho Forest Group mill, where trees planted decades ago become lumber that builds homes across the country. Serving on the Idaho State Land Board, it matters to get out of the office and hear from the people doing this work. Healthy forests and strong rural economies depend on the state, our universities, private industry, and our federal partners finding ways to work together.

Today we honor the Constitution, the greatest governing document ever written. Our Founders understood that our rights come from God, not government. The Constitution was designed to protect those liberties and limit the power of government. As Attorney General, I will always defend the Constitution and the freedoms it guarantees.

Spent the day in the Latah County woods with the loggers, foresters, and University of Idaho students who carry on one of Idaho's proudest traditions. Their work keeps our mills running, our rural communities strong, and our forests healthy. Grateful for the opportunity to see all they do.

Twenty-five years after September 11, we remember the nearly 3,000 Americans killed by Islamic terrorists who sought to destroy our nation, our values, and our way of life. We remember those who died, all the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who still carry the loss from that day. We will never forget.

Charlie Kirk didn’t run from opposing ideas, he invited them and debated them. He understood that speech is not violence. He believed, as our Founders did and as I do, that the answer to speech you disagree with is more speech, not censorship. That is how a free republic survives and flourishes.

Federal immigration law must be enforced. Liberal activists are trying to hold Idaho law enforcement officers personally liable simply for assisting federal authorities in a lawful enforcement action. We will always defend the men and women who uphold the law. kivitv.com/canyon-county/acl…

I stood with other state AGs to stop New York from imposing its $75 billion climate tax on energy producers, and we won in federal court. New York tried to punish companies for producing energy legally, including energy used here in Idaho. One state cannot impose its laws on the rest of the country. I will keep fighting back against radical climate extremism that drives up costs for Idaho families.
