I’ve always thought this about Sydney Sweeney’s appeal: she’s the first celebrity in a very long time that feels like a real sex symbol. Yes, there are hotter women celebs, but none that lean in to Being Hot & embracing the male gaze like she has. Most other female celebs over the last 10-15 years have made it a point to signal that they are NOT catering to men.
