The fight over Paramount’s $110 billion Warner Bros. Discovery merger is moving back to court.
The Block the Merger coalition is asking a federal judge to reject what it calls a “weak and unenforceable” settlement, warning it fails to protect consumers, independent filmmakers, diverse storytelling and press freedom.

Paramount Skydance is raising $7.5 billion more in debt to help fund its $111 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery.
In total, Paramount said it now intends to raise approximately $44.4 billion of additional secured debt: “Paramount intends to utilize the net proceeds of these borrowings, together with cash on hand and the net proceeds of the previously announced equity financing, to finance the purchase price for its previously announced acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. and the repayment of certain existing debt.”

Quick update on what’s coming.
I’m leaning harder into music content, original AI work, motivational pieces, and the Music Media Mashups I announced a while back. A bunch of mashups are already finished, I’m just waiting on a custom logo from an industry promoter who I've worked with over the years so we can launch it as its own brand. That’s taken a little longer than expected, but it’s still happening.
The Lethal Geeks isn’t going anywhere. I’ll keep handling a lot of the behind-the-scenes work. In front of the camera, you’ll mostly be seeing Phil and Kozy. We have a ton of plans to ramp up content production for TLG so stay tuned for that!

People keep using geek and nerd like they’re the same word. They’re not.
A geek is someone who went deep in on something and came back with taste. They can talk about it without reciting Wikipedia at you. They’ve got range. They know why something is good, not just that it exists. Cultured, a little mysterious, actually interesting. You want them at the table.
A nerd is someone who treats fandom like a personality and volume like proof. Same three references on loop. No filter, no irony, no “maybe don’t wear the merch to the grocery store.” They’re not mysterious. They’re just proud of finishing the worksheet.
That’s the difference.
