The plot thickens regarding the recent Koran recital inside a Catholic church in Belgium. As I reported (link below), the Arabic passage the muezzin chose to chant was dedicated to condemning idolatry and idol worship — a curious choice for a Muslim to pick while inside a Catholic church full of statues, crosses, and images, all of which are, of course, idolatry to Muslims.
Turns out that church leaders had screened and approved this Koran passage beforehand (link below).
No doubt, for them, condemning idolatry and idol worship is perfectly okay. After all, as Christians — even as Catholic Christians — they do not see themselves as idol worshippers.
Fine. But are they that oblivious to the fact that Islam sees them — indeed, sees all Christians — as idol worshippers?
Yes, Muslim apologists and goons of all sorts like to insist that Islam categorizes Christians as "people of the book," not as polytheists.
What they don't tell you is that the absolute worst form of idolatry (shirk) in Islam is the association of someone or something else with God (Allah). And Islam makes unequivocally clear that belief in the Trinity is absolutely idolatry — meaning even image-eschewing Protestants are idolaters according to Islam.
Both Catholic and Protestant "leaders" should know this before approving of Koran recitals absolutely meant to degrade them inside their own church.

The Muslim muezzin who opened Mass inside St Peter's church at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, intentionally chose to recite a Koran passage that condemns his Christian hosts as idolaters (Koran 26:70-77):
"When he [Abraham] questioned his father and his people, 'What is that you worship [besides Allah]?' They replied, 'We worship idols, to which we are fully devoted.' Abraham asked, 'Can they hear you when you call upon them? Or can they benefit or harm you?' They replied, 'No! But we found our forefathers doing the same.' Abraham responded, 'Have you [really] considered what you have been worshipping— you and your ancestors? They are [all] enemies to me, except the Lord of all worlds [Koran 26:70-77]."
Islam teaches that all Christians are idolaters (mushrikin, people who “associate” another—Jesus—with Allah). That the muezzin chose to recite this particular passage inside a Catholic church—which is full of statues and images which are anathema to Muslims—is no coincidence.
Clearly, Muslims are becoming quite emboldened. It used to be that they would recite Koran verses about how “you have your religion and I have mine” during these sham “interfaith dialogues.” But now they are openly telling the same Christians who invite them into their churches that Christianity is false.
One cannot blame their temerity seeing the degree to which slavish “Christians” are willingly capitulating to Islam.

Here is Loser Christianity at its finest!
The Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium opened its formal academic year with a Mass inside St Peter’s Church.
But that Mass was preceded by a Muslim muezzin chanting an Arabic verse from the Koran, a book which categorically condemns the most important Christian doctrines — including the Trinity and Christ's crucifixion and resurrection — and even calls for the subjugation of Christians (Koran 9:29).
Yet another example that Islam isn't making inroads in the West due to any inherent strength, but due to Christian capitulation:
