Running AI locally on your computer usually requires separate tools for serving, fine-tuning, testing, and benchmarking.
One tool may need an update that another can't work with. Fix one, break another.
Local AI should let you focus on building, not fixing the setup.
Here’s how to run it all in one place without tools clashing or updates breaking your setup. 🧩
Private AI shouldn’t stop at inference. Your documents and retrieval pipeline can stay local too.
Our latest walkthrough brings together @BAAIBeijing BAAI BGE and @Alibaba_Qwen Qwen/Qwen3.5-4B to build an end-to-end local RAG pipeline with Razer AIKit.

Yesterday at the @techinasia panel, Razer's CSO Li Meng Lee joined leaders from OpenAI and Canva to discuss how global brands scale for local markets, in front of 300+ attendees.
On the panel, he spoke to why AI matters in gaming's high-stakes launch environment and how Razer Indie Lab @WYVRN_official is helping developers get it right before they ship, from AI-powered QA to content creation with partners to payment support for emerging markets.

Razer came to PAX West with plenty to play. Four days of Razer gear in the PAX Arena, hands-on time with our latest launches, Razer AVA meeting the community, and a packed booth from start to finish. GG, Seattle. Thanks for making #RazerPAX one to remember.

There’s a big difference between an AI that responds quickly and one that actually feels responsive.
For AI companions, latency isn’t just a performance metric.
If the pause feels too long, it stops feeling like a conversation and more like you’re waiting on a tool. 🤖
In any conversation, timing matters.
You speak ➡️ someone reacts ➡️ you respond.
Add too much of a pause, and even a really capable AI can start to feel awkward.
For AI companions, being smart is only part of it. It also has to keep up. 🗣️
As AI moves into voice, companions and other real-time experiences, speed starts to matter a lot more.
Sometimes, a better AI experience is simply one that can keep up with you.

AI is changing game development, just not in the way that players think.
No “AI made the whole game.”
The real shift is in the parts players never see. 🧵⬇️

The biggest AI spend in games isn't player-facing.
It's code review. Asset pipelines. Build tools.
None of it shows up in a trailer. All of it shows up in the ship date.
None of this replaces developers. It cuts the grind so more time goes into the parts that actually make a game good. 🎮

🌅 Morning: talking through code with your AI agent.
Both conversations, one machine, zero data leaving your desk. That's Razer AIKit: local-first AI, built for performance and privacy, not one or the other. rzr.to/aikit

About 1 in 3 new game releases now include an AI disclosure — a label telling players that AI was used somewhere during the game's development. That's up from ~11% in 2024.
The findings are interesting: GameDiscoverCo found 43% of players are okay buying an AI-labeled game, 31% view it negatively, and 26% are neutral. Only 8% say they'd refuse to buy it outright.
