The AI partners for India's boldest Banks at GFF’26

India built one of the world's most sophisticated payment systems. UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets, cash on delivery, hundreds of banks, all working together at a scale no other country has matched. Today, we're giving it intelligence of its own. Introducing Razorpay Vulcan, India's first AI foundation model for payments. Powered by @nvidia and @awscloud , the model is trained on billions of transactions, and understands how money actually moves across India. Getting smarter with every payment it sees, and compounding intelligence. We are already running in beta across thousands of businesses including @letsblinkit , Bachatt and @redBus_in . More successful payments. Stronger fraud protection. Built for India’s scale. #razorpay #foundationmodel

Most good ideas die in a brief, a backlog, or a browser tab. On Saturday, 150+ people showed up at Razorpay HQ to change exactly that. We hosted Sprint Saturday in partnership with @Replit, a buildathon that brought together 150+ marketers, founders, PMs, sales and ops folks. The people who usually brief someone else to build it. And the response was incredible! 150+ attendees. 90+ teams. 6 on stage. 3 winners. Zero lines of code written by hand. Each of the attendees walked in with an idea and walked out with something live: reconciliation agents, feedback dashboards, credit scoring tools, content engines, and a few things we genuinely didn't see coming. Big thank you to @Replit, to our mentors and judges, and to everyone who showed up and shipped.

Card testing is the most industrialised form of fraud in digital payments- and the entity bearing the ultimate loss is often misunderstood. Razorpay Vulcan re-engineers fraud detection at scale to stop sophisticated attacks without sacrificing conversion. Here is how it works 🧵👇

We evaluated Razorpay Vulcan by assigning it the exact same “block budget," and allowing it to autonomously classify payment risk. Across a month of international card traffic, surviving fraud reaching issuing banks declined by ~50% at the identical block rate. The impact on genuine conversion was minimal: false positives accounted for <0.01% of monthly sales value. 90% were micro-amounts under ₹20, and 50% of those cards never completed a valid transaction elsewhere.

To stress-test model efficacy against dynamic attack vectors, we conducted two stress tests: Ablation (No Metadata): Stripping card, bank, geo, and merchant tags left only timing and frequency dynamics. The model still detected ~66% of the fraud, proving risk lies in behavior over static attributes. Zero-Day Exposure: A model trained exclusively on non-attack periods successfully intercepted 50% of an unseen, large-scale attack wave. Attackers can switch credentials and IPs, but they cannot eliminate high-frequency behavioral patterns- because frequency is the attack. What do the tailors of Dhobi Talao have to do with one of Bombay’s most iconic music businesses? Quite a lot, actually. In this edition of The OGs, we sit down with Anthony Gomes, second-generation custodian of Furtados Music, to trace the unlikely story of how his father John Gomes took over the business, the community that backed him, and how the family kept the music playing through decades of change. This is the Bombay edition of The OGs, our love letter to the entrepreneurs, institutions and stories that have built the city we know and love today. @furtados #Razorpay #TheOGs #BombayOGs

Cross-border payments are no longer just about moving money from one country to another. The next wave is about how the infrastructure, experiences and businesses around them evolve too. Rahul Kothari joins leaders across payments and financial services to get into exactly that at #GFF26. Live from Hall 102.

AI agents discovering things is interesting. AI agents actually being able to complete commerce journeys is where Day 3 gets interesting. Net Banking is on the agenda at Booth R1 today. Here’s what’s coming up at #GFF26.

Payments generate a LOT of signals. Success rates, risk, customer behaviour and everything in between. So we built an AI model specifically to understand them! Meet Razorpay Vulcan, India’s first Payments Foundational Model for Commerce, built to power intelligence across payments. #GFF26

A lot of what changes in banking starts with people inside banks pushing it forward. Manish Jain, Executive Director at @YESBANK , was felicitated as one of Razorpay’s Bankers of Tomorrow for their contribution to advancing banking and payments. #GFF26

Some corporate card payments need two people to say yes. Now, the payment flow knows that too. Razorpay x Axis Bank just launched Dual Auth / Maker Checker, an industry-first maker-checker capability built directly into corporate card payments. #GFF26

🥁 Big one from #GFF26. Razorpay CardSync is now live on Google Pay. A card your customer saved on their favourite TPAP app now surfaces across to your Razorpay-powered checkout. No looking for a card, or re-entering a single digit. And soon, this is how India will pay on your store: card shows up → fingerprint → done. No OTP. No drop off. Just biometrics.

What it means for you: fewer drop-offs at the exact step where checkouts die. Higher conversion. Zero raw card data touching your systems. What it means for your customers: saved once, ready everywhere. Consent stays explicit, credentials stay tokenised.

Same trust. Fewer steps. Entering into a shared trust layer between where the card lives and where your commerce happens. Because, checkout shouldn’t be a memory test.
